Few issues about that: 1st off I personally was never a fan of CAU's Homecoming Greek Steps shows mainly because it's not exciting what so ever. All of CAU's Divine 9 NPHC chapters are not active. So literally for the past 3 years it's been the same 2 sororities & the same 2 frats stepping. Why pay $30.00 for that...? I know this is very old however I would like to share a story . I became a very young teen mother. I felt I brought shame not only to my family but, the fact I would be judge as promiscuous which I am extremely far from and was the topic of my situation was deeper than a pregnancy . I also come from a line of AKA’s I remember wearing future AKA tees and my Aunt is an AKA as we went places together. She is so loved by many. And I never seen or known a person with so much Grace, Elegant ,Poise ,Positive, Lady to this date. So, I just received my GED went to school for Medical Asst. I wasn’t old enough they where clueless. I set my 5 yrs plans . I want to become an Anesthesiologist. I still never came became back to my family whom I love so dearly I was ashamed . I always wanted to be an Aunt not really a mother. Nevertheless I said I’ll be the best. My daughter has heart issues she’s 25 yrs old and 2 teen sons 18, 15 all soon to be these ages with in a few weeks. I then decided to go in business for myself with my Education as a back up plan. God is Awesome .... I fell ill 3 yrs ago and administered the wrong medication that nearly killed me..... as my sister came last week from VA I found out that she pledged the very last year at that time Alcorn wasn’t allowing them to pledge due to hazing of others killed not in HBCU but still she had to fight as others it was her senior year. Steve McNair was there I have the pictures. She’s introvert she told me I’m the reason she pledged it was for me because she knew it meant the world to me and I couldn’t . I literally cried because I didn’t know she just told me. And because I could I’ve been blessed with success and my daughter didn’t go to HBCU so I’m know working on a sisterhood . After 20 yrs I’m just around my family again it is the most emotional situation ever . I finally I’m complete. I pray all goes well because I’m mainly doing this for my daughter and her friends that call me mom. Of course it will not be like this but , my family stands behind me. And all thought years I was missing they didn’t understand . We cried and have been strong since. My sister is extremely involved as an AKA and even got her to model😊. These organizations are about uplifting the community through services because they certainly were not getting it from the white people. Few issues about that:
1st off I personally was never a fan of CAU's Homecoming Greek Steps shows mainly because it's not exciting what so ever. All of CAU's Divine 9 NPHC chapters are not active. So literally for the past 3 years it's been the same 2 sororities & the same 2 frats stepping. Why pay $30.00 for that...?

I know this is very old however I would like to share a story . I became a very young teen mother. I felt I brought shame not only to my family but, the fact I would be judge as promiscuous which I am extremely far from and was the topic of my situation was deeper than a pregnancy . I also come from a line of AKA’s I remember wearing future AKA tees and my Aunt is an AKA as we went places together. She is so loved by many. And I never seen or known a person with so much Grace, Elegant ,Poise ,Positive, Lady to this date. So, I just received my GED went to school for Medical Asst. I wasn’t old enough they where clueless. I set my 5 yrs plans . I want to become an Anesthesiologist. I still never came became back to my family whom I love so dearly I was ashamed . I always wanted to be an Aunt not really a mother. Nevertheless I said I’ll be the best. My daughter has heart issues she’s 25 yrs old and 2 teen sons 18, 15 all soon to be these ages with in a few weeks. I then decided to go in business for myself with my Education as a back up plan. God is Awesome .... I fell ill 3 yrs ago and administered the wrong medication that nearly killed me..... as my sister came last week from VA I found out that she pledged the very last year at that time Alcorn wasn’t allowing them to pledge due to hazing of others killed not in HBCU but still she had to fight as others it was her senior year. Steve McNair was there I have the pictures. She’s introvert she told me I’m the reason she pledged it was for me because she knew it meant the world to me and I couldn’t . I literally cried because I didn’t know she just told me. And because I could I’ve been blessed with success and my daughter didn’t go to HBCU so I’m know working on a sisterhood . After 20 yrs I’m just around my family again it is the most emotional situation ever . I finally I’m complete. I pray all goes well because I’m mainly doing this for my daughter and her friends that call me mom. Of course it will not be like this but , my family stands behind me. And all thought years I was missing they didn’t understand . We cried and have been strong since. My sister is extremely involved as an AKA and even got her to model😊. So what she did for her little sister is really paying off for her now. Be Blessed sorry for typos I’m emotional .❤️😉
