The Justin/Clay friendship is the best thing 13 Reasons did. I just adore the brotherly bond they formed and how they always protect, defend and support each other always. I am so glad the writers redeemed Justin and so interweaving him in Clays life and family was amazing.
Their brotherly relationship is MY FAVORITE relationship in the whole series! 💖💖 Mr and Mrs Jensen and Clay were Justin's real family. Not his junky mother who didn't even try to protect him. The only sad fact for me is that Justin used to call Bryce his brother so often, and that he calls Clay brother only at the end, and he doesn't say it to him face to face. "Bro" is just an abbreviation and you can describe both a related brother or just a close friend. Clay just read Justin calling him brother in the letter he sent to college. Both Justin (and of course Clay) deserved so much better.....😭😭😭
Saaaame! I didn't care for the book so I never tried the series but now I feel like I should at least start at s2 and see where it goes. Found families are my bread and butter
After everything Clay would give anything to have a moment with Justin whether it was good or bad. He truly loved his brother!!! Especially the part where he yelled at him for throwing grapes at his bed. Then the smile that Justin gave when he left was honest the point where he finally felt like he had a good family.
