I thought my friend just gave me a useless bracelet until I saw this video randomly on youtube. I never thought it had this kind of feature. Been wearing it on my bag not knowing it has a knife and a kind of lighter 😅
5 out of 5 stars. 1 for persistence ,, 1 for finger dexterity to hold that tiny thing ,,1 for actually achieving flame ,, 1 for not name dropping as it is a clone .. and the final one for not loosing your religion while trying to manipulate shavings with that blade 😂😂😂
Something I noticed with my bracelet earlier, was that upon removing the fire striker, you can flip it over, find the groove from where you removed it, and insert it back into the hole upside down. This means you don't have to physically hold the striker stick when trying to create a spark. Thought maybe you could try that out. 😊
not sure if I understand the question but if you mean what happens when the ferro rod wears out, I'd buy a new bracelet I guess! This set up is meant to be a back up for emergencies, not a dedicated one tool option! You should have a minimum of a 3/8 ferro rod for general use in my opinion! Hope this helps!
Its hard to say, they have a coating to protect them from corrosion. You have to scratch through that coating to get it to strike. Its definitely not easy but with a little practice it should work for you!
@@ReWyldOutdoors I'm embarrassed to say how long it took me to realize this about the coating lol! But, that might be the answer for people who haven't tried it yet.
@@ReWyldOutdoors I like it alot but definitely agree with what you said , The compass is shit. I came across this video cause my technique for the firestarter was off and I wanted to find a video that would help with such a short starter

I like vids like this. Honest opinions. If its crap, say its crap. If its good, say its good. You pointed out good points and bad points. Keep it up.
Oh my God, this is gonna help me so much, I didn't know how to use it.

the compass works when you place it on a flat surface
Awesome man. Not bad for a wish product. Wouldnt want to risk my life on it but its better than nothing. Not bad for a stocking stuffer
It worked that's all that counts !

Lol thanks for that!
i got one and luckily the compass is working.
Theres a coating on the rod. You have to strike around 15 times before it throws consistent spark.

Is it water proof like does water can affect its features to stop work
No, water does not effect the ferro rods spark. It will spark wet or dry!
Can paracord cut soft wood and thanks your review was really useful
Ive never tried to use para-cord to cut wood! It will dig into a live tree though for sure! Thats why we use wide tree straps for hammocks!
