You the man Dave. Good job on the video as always. Not to many people know how much work goes into a 15 minute display. Good work. Lol side note... You better step your fuse game up. Lol good work
Thanks for the comments everyone , I enjoy reading them all. As you can see things do not always go 100% as planned with finales. But I thought ahead in anticipation with a Plan B and those extra light points. I don't feel the finale broke where I connected it. I suspect the audience still loved the display and the finale. This display started at 830 AM leaving my home and ended at past 100 AM with me getting back to my home. All for a 15 minute fireworks display to celebrate the July 4th holiday in United States. Its a great feeling to be part of it. I am always hoping to inspire some of my UA-cam subscribers to also be part of it one day. Thanks again everyone for following my videos.
Just rediscovered this channel, you were a massive inspiration to me and my super amateur backyard shows when I was around 12-15 years old. Awesome to see that you're still active on here!
beautiful video I'm a licensed pyro myself and no one has a clue on what it takes for a 15 minute show and boy how I hate the breakdown and getting home 1/2 in the morning...gotta love those "cleanOuts" and buy the way you guys have the best salute finales and very professional
Great show as always Dave. Always learn when watching you. The work put into my show this year was more than expected but well worth it hearing everyone cheering.
I loved your video earlier, coulden'yt comment, Internet problem. Anyway, the video was awesome! I haven't been to a small show in a while. I go to Tewksbury Ma, and Lowell Ma, they both have awesome shows, they are sizable, between 15 and 20 minutes. It varies. I am obsessive fan of fireworks! Ti just want to say, thank you for what you do to keep people safe at a fireworks show, for entertains a crowd of people, you and all the Pyros work hard to get a perfect show to go out ff safely, we smile, yell and cream, if the setting is right, maybe she'd a tear or two, fireworks are sometimes so beautiful, they tug at your heart. Fireworks Forever! I hope you had a good July 4th.
I was a licensed pyro in Wahington state a few years back. We fired everything on a P-45 manual or Nighthawk type firing system. Watching these guys fire by hand looks way more fun !! Some great improvising and team work as well. Way to go guys !!! Was that last salute cake some type of Thunder King ? Very cool.
CDL is required if 26,001lbs gvw or heavier. If it is a placarded hazmat load it requires a CDL. It can have air brakes. It is only the GVW or hazmat status that requires CDL.
Great video! I used to do this for Zambelli a few years ago until my boss lost his license for being a moron! Would love to work with you if you have room on your crew!
"Take a break because it's 80 some degrees" Holy shit Dave, I spent 8 hours and 45 minutes in 98 degree heat setting up a municipal show here in Texas. You lucky fellows.
Jk W except it doesn't produce as nice a show. If he was using a firing system or even a nail board there wouldn't have been pauses when the finale chains burnt out
Hey Dave, thanks for your videos. only have my ATF license years and my New York State own and possess license is almost done. but I caught what you said about the red fuse on the shells can you please tell me what it means
Wel if that's the savest option... They will also look at how dry the days before went. They could've used a firetruck to (pre)wet the trees to prevent any fire danger.
I had a fun show using consumer cakes and Excalibur shells. even though I had a few That I did not have continuity on the talon clip and some that failed to light the fuse. I bought from Spirit of '76 fireworks in Columbia, MO, and Overstock Central Fireworks. I am in Missouri.
Why does everything seems so easier in America with rules and stuff? In Europe you need a special vehicle that's bomb proof with iron protection for transporting fireworks. In America you could just hire an truck for rent and put a sticker on it. Haha. Amazing video's, keep it up!
Only 2 more hours? You're lucky- we had to unload all the trucks back at the barn, so we could return them that night. We watched the sun come up every 5th of July...
Enjoyed the video, great show. Question tho, I do my own fireworks and I was just curious why was the finale not all hooked together? Why the 3 or 4 separate lights? Or was it just accidental? Kinda sounds that way. Just wanted clarification. Didn’t know for sure if it was meant to be that way. I get the separate salutes. But like I said, it was a good show. Looked good. I still hand light all mine as you guys are doing. I Wanted to go all electronic but it takes some of the fun out of it. 😁 I’m not trying to criticize, like I said I was just curious.
Hey Dave big fan of the channel had some questions that I am sure you get all the time ....I'm from New York and usually go to PA for consumer fireworks but would like to take it to the next level...can you help out guide me on the right path ??
I refuse to like this video because 665 is a beatiful number but just know you have my 👍 if I come back and it is past 665 I will relike the video. I am getting my ATF license and plan on doing everything in my power to go as far into the professional fireworks world as I possibly can because being a professional pyrotechnic has been the only dream job I have ever had and I can't wait to get into the world of 1.3 fireworks
I promise you you are not a team leader at zambelli fireworks I guarantee that one I promise you you weren't cuz if you were you would never have made the statement you just did trust me. Been around fireworks for 45 years done professionally for 28 and I work zambelli fireworks okay
But yes I will admit until you behind-the-scenes the setup and behind the scenes of shooting the show are very interesting but unfortunately the behind-the-scenes on this one wasn't very good. But the work behind the scenes is very difficult very hard
I was watching professional fireworks the finale failed they lighted in section of three no one knows what was going on but I knew I what happens because I watch videos lol
I don't know if I would consider this average anymore. These days I think road flares and shell leaders are in the minority, and the percentage of hand fired displays is shrinking fast. 100% E-fire is the way of the future! haha
deicide2451 well sure, hand firing is fun, but the problem is once the customer has viewed a few e-fired choreographed displays it's hard to compete for their business with a hand fired show. But we still keep an extra rack sometimes for some hand fired teasers to scratch that thump junkie itch 😉
I saw a what a small 2.5 inch shell did when it blew up in the tube at a show i worked looked like a hand grenade went off. Would hate to see what one of those 5 inchers would do if the same thing happened while hand lighting.
Too much effort for me, I'm getting too old to be running around a firing site like that. Would rather run E-match with a Fire One panel, Rare for us to do any hand fire shows anymore, maybe small town displays, anything over 100 shells and cakes and we just fire electrical.
Also for the person that claims they work for zambelli fireworks and call that a great video oh hell no he never work for zambelli fireworks I promise you that one I bet my life and everybody else in the u.s. is wise on that one now talk to truth if you're going to post something

Great video, I want to be a pyrotechnician this makes me even more excited. I'd love to learn more.
Watching a video like this makes me want to work in the industry real bad, so awesome

Always look forward to your vids this wonderful time of the year
Great show as always Dave. Always learn when watching you. The work put into my show this year was more than expected but well worth it hearing everyone cheering.
Great insight on what goes on behind the scenes. thanks
Looks like it is a fireworks show for the deer out in the woods! :-)
great video Dave
Love ur video's and love what u do
if you don't mind, how much did you charge for this show?
I loved your video earlier, coulden'yt comment, Internet problem. Anyway, the video was awesome! I haven't been to a small show in a while. My father use to shoot for Zambelli back in the 70's and 80's ... He's retired from it now. He shot the shows out here in Connecticut
Well done, You were making me tired toward the end :) Long days for sure.
wheres the good stuff the snakes and sparklers
So awesome!

Nice video, i enjoy jour videos. thank you
Man I love at like 15:15 where you can hear those thumps and it’s just singley shot. I need those
Out of curiosity to get a feel for the price, what would a show like this cost to product ? a rough ball park figure. Thanks
great video thanks for uploading - from the UK!
Awesome job Dave!!
I do a 30 minute show for 500 people but we do it with all 1.4g pyro

Great video, I give it a thumbs up!
Good job!
JUST AWESOME!
great video. hand lighting is so much nicer and easier than using. a firing system. becasue you dont have to worry about wires and everything.
Jk W except it doesn't produce as nice a show. If he was using a firing system or even a nail board there wouldn't have been pauses when the finale chains burnt out
great job dave
The coolest firework I got was a spiral light from tnt...
Hey Dave, thanks for your videos. only have my ATF license years and my New York State own and possess license is almost done. but I caught what you said about the red fuse on the shells can you please tell me what it means
anthony dinunzio
How bad is it ro get youe ny state licenses
Jist wondering im in N.Y. also
Man I miss that smell! I did all hand lit, too, but we used propane torches instead of flares.
I don't think my fire marshal would grant a permit for a shoot site like that to many trees
Wel if that's the savest option... They will also look at how dry the days before went. They could've used a firetruck to (pre)wet the trees to prevent any fire danger.
Awesome!
Good vid. I would like to see a narrative of the cakes and shells..
YESS IVE BEEN WAITING FOR ONE OF THESE
thank you for this video dude👌🏼

Was wondering what editing software you used for this video. I am working on a video like this on my channel coming soon.

Mstr Twice This is why ua-cam.com/video/U1mlCPMYtPk/v-deo.html

E matches or tallons for your Christmas stocking 😂 but we'll saved nothing worse than having to jury rig or blag it mid display
great show just quick question how to u go bout doin show I want to startvdoin them I enjoy doin shows

Fireworks 🎆 🎇 🧨! Cheaper than a coke habit! And better! Rockets are my fav. Though
Hey Dave big fan of the channel had some questions that I am sure you get all the time ....I'm from New York and usually go to PA for consumer fireworks but would like to take it to the next level...can you help out guide me on the right path ??
nice work Dave
nice
Old man drove right up to the fire pit LOL
which camera ; lens and settings were used? thank you..
I refuse to like this video because 665 is a beatiful number but just know you have my 👍 if I come back and it is past 665 I will relike the video.

3 more months I can’t wait to shoot fireworks I’m going get my stuff next month
What is the largest shell you've ever used how big is too big
I would like to get my ATF license for fireworks how would I go about doing that?
No offense intedned, but looks like a camp fire within 10ft from 5 or 6" mortar rack at around the 17 min mark. That's pretty bold.
Whats the cost on something like this
I paused the vid several times when you were up front firing the cakes and sure didn't see much of an audience. Nice show anyway.
What kind of flares are those
Hey i love the vids can u do a small vid on places in p.a. and or n.h. please and thank u
I'm a team leader for Zambelli in Charlottesville, Virginia. great video. I hope you had a great 4th!
I promise you you are not a team leader at zambelli fireworks I guarantee that one I promise you you weren't cuz if you were you would never have made the statement you just did trust me. Been around fireworks for 45 years done professionally for 28 and I work zambelli fireworks okay

I was watching professional fireworks the finale failed they lighted in section of three no one knows what was going on but I knew I what happens because I watch videos lol
I have you beat on the low breaks... in a small show... 2 flower pots Whalen I normally see only about one
I was wondering, How long should your average professional show last? Had a show in my city that went for 46 mins. People started leaving at 20 mins.
Firework time
Was this at seven springs?
Dave is this the same site as last year's show
1:01 yep
What are they firing at 18:00?
I want to do a show for my 1,000 sub special but I also want prices I'm in pa who do I go to?
Where can I get 120 salutes????
I don't know if I would consider this average anymore. These days I think road flares and shell leaders are in the minority, and the percentage of hand fired displays is shrinking fast. 100% E-fire is the way of the future! haha
True... But I much rather do a hand fired show... Way more fun!!!

What happened that he was cursing with the finale?
3-4 pauses when the next racks did not fire
Well there’s my answer, 18:20 😘😍. Gotta hand light them. I need that set up
damn hand lighting looks sketching as hell. glad not to do that. too many people too close.
how do you ggo about getting your pyro licence
Aaron Lambie. go to his website pyrotalk.com
Too much effort for me, I'm getting too old to be running around a firing site like that. Would rather run E-match with a Fire One panel, Rare for us to do any hand fire shows anymore, maybe small town displays, anything over 100 shells and cakes and we just fire electrical.
