This is a great tutorial, thank you! Is there a way I can buy or download more shapes on Photoshop? I am not much of an artist so I haven't been able to design my own.

You can also use the lasso tool and then right click with the lasso inside the marked area then select "make work path" 2, the ok.
Just made myself a Pine tree brush!
what if i want to create a shape with intricate details inside ? how do i remove some fillers in that solid shape ?
Excellent video with a ton of information. Thank you.
I would like to create a kind of tiles or little "windows" thru which another layer would be visible. I would like to be able to make the distances between these tiles thicker or thinner and to manipulate the number of the tiles. Can a shape like that be created the way you showed us or do I need to know some Adobe scripting language or something similar? (Like VBA in MS Office.)
Very helpful! thanks so much.
I never knew you could do this in photoshop! Good Tutorial :) I also subbed to your new youtube channel
Do you have a video that shows how to rotate them up and down or in a circle and to put one shape inside another shape?
Really excellent tip, will definitely favorite that one.
Could you please do a video about how you organize your video files? I'm very interested in your workflow and how you keep everything that you record in order.
What is the font you used for your Iceflow Studios intro?
How do you perform functions such as "add" ,"subtract", or "divide" like the Pathfinder option in Illustrator?
This was a really good video! Very friendly guy. Thanks!
For some reason when I make the circle now I cant flatten the layer because when I do the circle disappears. How do I save the image?

That w excellent thanks chief ✊
for real thank you very much
neat fine tuning!
love your videos, can I just ask why Helvetica behind your branding? It's so overused to me, would love to see a more unique logo.
why does my 2021 photoshop on Mac not have that option
Thank you so much ! :)
thank you for this video. please highlight keys. command+ control+????
Is there any simple way to do this?
To eliminate the distortion and make a sharp angle you just alt+click on the point you just created and the curve point will disappear. There's no need to alt click and drag the curve point, it just makes things more complex and unecessary and kinda a waste of time :) It works on CS6 and CC that I've used.
Thanks!
thanks mate
I have made a shape in idraw and brought it ps as a .psd . I want to make it a custom shape in ps but it is not allowing me, the define custom shape is greyed out. What am I doing wrong? Is there a pixel limit size? Is there a way to transform the marching ants to a pen tool editable object so I can do it like you have said?

goodone..!
Same!
Which photohshop version is this?
Kris Saffron Photoshop CC.
Allan Lip Its Photoshop CS6, on the top its written Adobe Photoshop CS6
I guess he's going for the simple classy look; I personally like it...
Pen tool did it for me.
I use an other method. Simpler I think.
Create on an colourless layer in black the form you want to achieve. Make a selection, go to the path Pallet and make your custom shape.
God, why does this have to be so difficult? I just cannot do it. I just do not get it.
same
1:12 and be happy

No. This channel will continue to serve Photoshop tutorials. The other channel is for everything else. My subscribers didn't like non-Photoshop videos on this channel.

the work don in your photoshop is not working in my photoshop
its a 8 year old video
@@vilppuruuttunen8063 I'm using 2021 version of Photoshop
why is it that every tutorial feels the need to discuss 10 other things that have nothing to do with the main task at hand.... Come on people - a 1 minute video would have served the purpose. If wanted to know how to use the pen tool, I would be looking at that tutorial.
well this didn't really tell me how to make anything but shapes I could already draw ...
making a speech bubble is not directly relevant to the issue of how to create shapes- you could have explained that with a line
what you came for is in 3:15 : Edit> Create custom shape
Watch do I do
starts at 1'05"
Never Mind, problem solved I looked through custom shape tool.
First
why. do talented people with Photoshop have no clue how to deliver an instruction or tutorial in a slow manner which everyone. can grasp??? Is it a matter of showing off or are you too busy to give a tutorial that all viewers can grasp without having to play over and over and pause over and over??? I suggest you take a tutorial on how to give a tutorial, especially a video tutorial!! Remember, its not about YOU, its about those trying to learn how you do it, not how fast you are!!!
