Don't waste money on weed barrier use mulch

There are tons of ways to keep weeds out of your flower beds, but this is my preferred method to keep you beds looking good.

probably more expensive, not the least because often the space between whats grown can be pretty big and thus fertlizing the whole thing with mulch isnt needed? also the time for whats supposed to come up might be far longer than the weeds that grows between the plants, thus the weeds steal the sun hours from our crops. right?
also, i figure trash bags are way cheaper than whats usually are sold as ground covers. but i havent found anyone saying that its effective in large area really. cheapest for small lands is probably cardbough though as they are found for free in markets. but slugs are said to be a problem with them, but at least worms and fungi seems to love it!
