Every performance so far has had somewhat subpar vocals. Has me worried. Doesn't help that his backing keyboardist isn't a great singer either and is mixed to be equal with Ezra.

@@scottenglert9206 Quite easy to distinguish them apart. Really becomes pronounced from about 2:33 - "I learned to play some lead guitar / was underage in this funky bar ) stepped outside to smoke myself a J"

@@rhymeocerous I do have to admit I stopped the video before getting to that part because I found the other signing annoying. But it is very apparent that he is off there. Shame because it is a great tune, and Paul Simon still did a great rendition when I saw him last year.

It is cool that young musicians acknowledge the influence of the great Paul Simon (their song White Sky is totally simonized), but the last time i saw Paul doing this song during his farewell tour at the age of 78, he (and his band) was far more energic and in tune than his young colleagues of this video.

Hey man cant argue the simon being more energetic but i think the context of vampire weekend with their more simon sounding first two albums combined with their more recent jam band inspired live sets with jamming makes this a pretty tasteful cover
