Good ole Nlhtehdo! I personally love the Lergnd if Zildlo
Lol! Yes Soo true! Goood one. Thanks for watching!
Another important point, and a lot of copies fortunately have this, is a crookedly pasted front label.
Thank you for choosing The Minish Cap specifically for the video! 🙏 Oh yeah, back in 2014 when I started collecting I paid $60 for a copy so it's been expensive for a long time lol. $75-80 is a good price if they're legit. There are a bunch of copies on eBay right now that would make me a little paranoid if I were in the market for one
Absolutely! Glad you enjoyed the video, Minish Cap is awesome ! Well worth the right price. Stay tuned I'm doing GBA Pokemon next
Also, when taking the cartridge apart the screws differ as well..fake carts have pointy screws and are bright in color, real carts screws have flat ends and are a little duller in color.
Precisely good find! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video. I was worried I got scammed when I bought Metroid off eBay because there was no ware on the cart or label. However it passed all the test. Now I’m just excited I got a nice copy of the game.
Your welcome ! I'm glad it worked out for you in your favor!
Thanks for making this vid! It helped me suss out whether or not a friend's copy was fake. All the signs are there. Much appreciated.
GREAT! I sure hope your friend didn't pay alot :(. Thanks for watching!
Great vid, just forked up 80 dollars on ebay, will check when i get it. Cant wait to play it when my Analogue pocket arrives next week as well.
Thanks for watching! I hope your game was authentic, if not you need to call out the seller. Stay Tuned for More!
Great detailed video, Nate👍. Just what we all needed.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!

Awesome! Glad you enjoyed the video and it helped you. Thanks for watching, Stay tuned i got more GBA videos highlighting Pokemon Games. Thanks!
Stay safe in Ukraine man!
Awesome video been looking to add some new GBA games to my collection and this will help me a lot.
GREAT! Thanks for watching, I'm happy this helped you!
Noticed that my own Minish Cap repro with the US label actually had the EUR rom revision. Yours seems to be the correct revision.
Thanks for pointing that out, Yes it should still work just fine. thanks for watching. Stay tuned for more.
Thank you this is very helpful!
Awesome ! I'm very happy you found this video to be helpful. I intended for it to be informational and I'm very happy to hear. Thank you for the feedback , have a great weekend
The game boy advance on the replica is a finer less italics font
Yes! Good catch! I have another video im going to be making soon comparing fake GBA Pokemon games to Real ones. Stay tuned! Thanks for watching!
I just realized I have a reproduction one. But I think I $30 for that game, and four swords.
Thats not a bad price, but at least you can enjoy them and still play. It would be worse if you paid collectors prices :(... Thanks for watching!
I just but thought that game yesterday, to go with my new gba SP. Thank you for putting my worries to rest, I have an authentic version of it. 😊
That is fantastic news! Hopefully you got it for a good deal! Always nice to know you have an authentic legitimate copy. Stay Tuned for more, thanks for watching.
I wonder when my plan is going to be important. My plan seems to suffer to your plans. Lmk.

I've noticed most repos have that big nasty black blob on the boards too. :\
Yep that is true, they chose to not use actual GOLD on the circuit board to prevent high cost of manufacturing, but the end result is they will not last as long as a REAL Nintendo cartridge. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the tips! Is this the same for PAL copies?
I'm almost 100% this is true for PAL games as well. Ok my next video I'll do a small segment to show you PAL games follow the same methods. Thanks for watching !!
@@Nate512 sounds good! Thanks a bunch!
Is there a performance difference? Between the real and fakes? Other than saving capabilities
Not that i noticed, it just takes a bit more time to load games in the beginning but they seem to work just fine. Enjoy!
Also the Nintendo seal looks kinda off
OK, so if you're buying a repro, just to play... And you know it's a repro, cause you only paid five bucks on aliexpress.... Is there a quality difference? Or would I not even notice?
You wouldn't notice a big difference, it will take a bit longer to load, as the original system has to read a different circuit set, but it will work in the end. Will it last as long years to come, probably not but its worth it just play the game i say go for it on the $5 margin, you can't lose.
Thanks i almost sell a fake one by mistake
I was looking at my game and there is no number on the cartridge, but everything else checks off a legit? Is the game still real.
There is a possibility it may still be repro. Does it have black saudered boxes on the circuit board ? I have heard of instances of repro cartridges blatantly printing Nintendo all over the unit to seem authentic.
Ive heard chinese copies dont run right?
So if I buy a reproduction game on purpose, will it be problematic
I have not heard any instances a repro copy will damage your system, so there is to my recollection no harm.
Well the save worked a few times but then it stopped
It's problematic if you ever try to sell it for the real games value
It’s unfathomable to see how many North American retro shoppers carelessly spend on overpriced Pokémon copies. I’ve saved so much money building my collection of N!nt0ndo games by sorting for the lowest price. LOL JK
Haha no kidding right.
