Selznick’s _Portrait of Jennie_ (1948), but one of her first big roles won her an Oscar as best supporting actress in _Sunset Boulevard_ (1950) with William Holden and Gloria Swanson. She retired about 35 years later in the 1980s. As of November 2024 she’s still living and is now 96. I hope that she’s enjoying good health.
