I love mine, it has been shooting fine all these years, I like the paddle release. Only thing I find with the gun is the sear axle (goes through the disconnector, catch, and sear) will slowly move left to right over time in its hole. Then I have to use my finger to push it back even with the frame.
People think the usp is built better than the hk45, but it's not. The hk45 is bigger in every dimension and heavier, despite the seeming smaller recoil spring.
Great video. You are improving with each video. I own an H&K USP Compact in .45 ACP and love it. Like you said, it is about as big as I can carry comfortably. My EDC is an H&K P30SK Light LEM 9mm. Keep the great content coming.
I carry a hk usp 45 full size but outside on the waistband. Id probably be able to pull off IWB but i need to lose weight first i got a damn tire for a waist lol 5'9 245 lbs lol
Same. IWB at 3 o clock. I, also 5'8 155 lbs. Not a big dude by any means. For me it helps to have a good carry belt as well as holster. Just as important as your firearm imo.
I really enjoy this firearm. It has extraordinary ergonomics, fits like a glove, and it is accurate. I have carried mine 15 - 20 hrs. a day. Alot of that depends on your desire, environment, and what you are comfortable with. I'm not huge, 5' 10' under 250lbs. Everyone should carry what they are comfortable, accurate, and place your trust in. This happens to be one that I like and trust. I also carry a HK USP .40 and/or a Staccato P. None of them are as lite as a Glock 23, but they make me feel confident in what I am carrying.
Within my collection this model compares most with my Sig P220; it’s not a good carry choice either. I do have the HK45C, and as much as I like that model , I find it too much to carry as well. Instead, I usually carry a VP9SK or my Colt Defender. Great video.
I have two of these, bought the first one some 10 years ago. I use an Israeli paddle holster, brown in color like the gun, and that's usually my sidearm when I go hiking, unless I'm in bear country at which point I'll take one of my 686 357's. I've sold off many 5k+ custom 1911's over the years but never even considered selling off my HK45's! Great shooters, built to last, easy to carry, and just all around great full sized combat pistols..
I love HK's... just picked up an HK45C and plan to add it to my carry rotation. I normally carry appendix and could use some suggestions for holsters? 5 Shot SME, Bitterroot, etc... thoughts? Staccato C2 is my main carry piece currently.
I guess if it was your edc you would get accustomed to it. I have a Walther with mag release on trigger guard. Since I don't carry it....you would laugh at me at the range.
You would be surprised how quickly you would come to love the paddle style magazine release. It is truly ambidextrous. Most of the time I use my thumb to release but can use my trigger or middle finger to release it.
@@paststeve1 I absolutely agree. I love my HK’s and the paddle mag release. It seems radically different when all you have are button mag release handguns, but it is so easy to actuate with either hand without breaking your grip.
i had a HKvp9 and it was juist snappy and the finger grooves just became to much over all and i sold it when i picked up my czp09. and my daily is glock 45

I carry an hk45t with the raised sights, no holster, the sights are soo big it hooks on my tactical belt and hangs comfortably 💯💪

You have a unicorn! Hard to find a HK in FDE. I love shooting mine, it's my night stand gun.
Does the slide release whan you put a new mag in it like the p30 guns 😊do?

These HK45's will go 20,000 rounds without even breaking a sweat... and it will eat all the +P ammo you have and ask for seconds.

Not tough to conceal at 210lbs 6ft4. I carry mine every day with no issues lol
