I have listened to this song over and over again since it came out. I am sitting in my mother’s room at hospice where she’s dying.
I have looked after her for the last two years and now in a few hours she’ll be off on a new adventure…without me.
This song is so universal it applies to so many circumstances and situations.
It, like every other song you two have created is so beautiful my soul swells when I hear your music.
‘Beginners’ tho will always have special meaning. It’s a song for me and my mom - sweet, gentle, profound and uplifting.
