The Current AEW champion or IWGP Champion can't close the show but The Elite and Jungle Jobber can. Winning the title is one thing, but Swerve needs to have a good title reign. Ball is your court Khanman, Do the right thing.

At least you’re given AEW no passes. I’ve only seen maybe a couple of others that I’ve talked about this. Guaranteed if this was WWE pull this on a black champion, there would be videos all over the place.
I feel like ospreay will win the international title at double or nothing. So this keeps him away from swerve for the time being. Ospreay will probably hold that title for the rest of the year before he drops it and moves on to the world title in 2025.
I hate to say but I have a bad feeling they are going to make swerve a transitional champion. I want to be wrong I hope I'm wrong because he's earned it. When I saw the card for tonight I was pissed 😡 why is the IWGP world title in the main event and not your own company's champion?! Plus this is a 2-hour show is there not enough room for two celebrations? Oh that's right the counterfeit bucks are in charge.
