Wiz player here, let's be honest angmet is the problem but the slow time helmet amplify this problem by a lot.. all your dot tick twice faster at least.
There will always be points of contention no matter what classes we all play. This is about the Angmet's Conflagration set being highly overtuned. If that can get any adjustment first, then after that, the usual pointing blame on specific essences will continue as it always will.

Bro for documentation next time pls click your buffs/debuffs area so we can actually see the timers on those debuffs. Anyway nice video. Its a 7k reso player that hit you if that is a low reso player that hit you it wouldn't matter much I think but since the ticks are taking huge chunks of life you really feel every tick lol. I counter those DOTS with 4 pc mountebanks and lots of shield procs on other sources they proc every 9 seconds so very handy and also shields protects you while using bandage.
With every day passing by, this game become sheetier!

Effects that continue AFTER death is completely broken.
Sadly that was going on before this. It is just exponentially amplified to ridiculous levels from the set not being balanced. Think they just rushed it out before adjusting the effect on it.
And still do not get why all negative effects are not cleared on death in bg.
3 stack of 4pcs angmet's dmg is about the same as 6pcs banquet of eye's damage without 40sec cd

That’s ridiculous. It’s a positive feedback loop lmao. Burn procs vipers which procs the burn which procs vipers again back n forth
I use the set on Sader for another reliable DoT to detonate. I’ve been hit by the set from every class. It’s ONLY broken on wizard. The damage is not that big, roughly 5k per second.
Ephemeral Visage almost DOUBLES the tick rate of your continual damage and DoTs without shortening the damage while also buffing your attack speed and movement speed. This video showcases a painful lack of self awareness and a laughable victim complex of one of the most coddled classes in the game. And this is coming from someone who plays everything but DH.
Run the same build without slow time and tell me the same thing you’re saying in this video. Or play as another class while using Angmet.
The closest to a “not class” problem you showed here was a result of huge potency, 30% duration from Baron and multiple DoTs with whale damage. You wouldn’t have been able to survive to heal had a wizard with Ephemeral done the same

they have to do something with this new set + grace combination. one touch and you pretty much dead. Also new wizards wind essence is broken. it pulls me back to wind when my anti cc skill finish. this is nonsens. this class not required any skill now. just throw your shit than go back and watch how ppl die offscreen lol.
Not for nothing, but if you are still in range while the duration of the arcane wind is still going on, and your anti cc skill falls off, that is what would happen. Same for say the sader pulls and Whirlwind barbs. I would try to teleport away, but yet get practically rubber banded across the screen right back in. Also if the animation range would match where the effects occur on a lot of abilities in this game correctly, that would be nice as well.
I find the new set kinda broken paired with Banquet of eyes 4 piece Hits Like a Truck and it works with all classes
running it with 4pc grace to interrupt heals more, but yeah. Baron's for increased duration.....pretty much anything really just because the angmet set is so busted lol. But yeah for dots and synergies it is either grace, baron, or eyes.
@@skyreign yea but Banquet of Eyes stacks with the monks new inner sanctuary essence that’s basically why I put it higher then 4 piece Grace

Don't know what Blizzard is thinking: How the hell the gem effect can happened even after death? Also, all these DOT are punishment for low stats f2p but no effect to whales, since they have higher health, obviously.
it still can hit with the lasting dot stacks but yes their resistance secondary stats would take more of the edge off along with their pets/shields etc. Posted a recent video showing footage from before the Agmet set, with the wiz helmet and no where near as effective and more in line with how it should be. Again the set probably wasn't play tested and seems to not have the bg strife applied to it like the rest of the sets in the game.
1000% THIS. I've been saying this for the last week. It's NOT wiz. It's the new set. Completely.
Apolly is making all these "wiz is broken" vids. And it's bs. Nothing new tho. He does a lot of specific vids for higher clicks. "X class is broken", "players are mean to me in the comments", "I told you so...", etc. And I've never seen him do a vid saying "I was wrong". He tends to dig in with whatever position he takes. Regardless of evidence to the contrary. So I dont even bother pointing anything out to him anymore.
Any class right now can swap on the new set and almost immediately MVP in battlegrounds.
I've done this in multiple classes in the last week. It has nothing to do with wiz. Most people arent playing the new set. They're slow to change what has been successful in the past. And don't realize how effective it is. Which is why people that have swapped are dominating right now. It's wild. And annoying when some people who only play one class assume it's the class that's OP.

tyvm....and I get what the others do for the click baiting. Just the nature of the youtube beast. But yeah I try not to say "oh this is the best of such thing" etc, but try to give options based on what works for me as a f2p, may not work as well for someone else or they have something better.
@@skyreign The thing with wiz amplifying this broken set is their slow time head essence. Imagine the same scenario on your video, same 7k reso but this time a wiz with same potency and barons set that lets him cycle the never ending DOT but the ticks are faster. Believe me you wont have this long video to show us because you will be dead. This video lasted this long and we watch you struggle with the DOT because its a necro that hit you. Speed up the busted DOT damage and you are a goner. Use ranger paragon tree that boost your damage and gives crit as long as you maintain your distance to your enemy which is so easy for a DOT build wiz, + 4 pc angmet + 4 pc baron (for longer DOT/ CC duration and damage buff for you and all your allies) + slow time head essence. BTW I think wiz got a shoulder essence that when you teleport you can remove a harmful effect if I remember correctly. Also a 7k wiz using 2pc baron with viper, seeping, torment legendary gems + slow time head essence without using angmet can still melt you.

@@3102nzain true about slow time. And any skill from any class that boosts the set effect. But it remains true that the set is broken. A dumb idea would be to leave the set as is, and nerf the slow time essence. But that's exactly what some idiots would want to do, so their favorite class can take better advantage of the broken set. The point being, nerf the set. Not wiz.
@@carpeimodiem I still think both of them should be check. Give any DOT build to a wiz with that slow time head essence and it will be the same. Even before this new set came out that head essence is OP with DOT builds. The set is broken but since every class can use it feels like its fair. Again the one on the video is a 7k reso. For the DH there are essences that blocks projectiles I have face DH with summon builds and they are manageable if you know game mechanics but with the slow time how would you counter a DOT speed up. Anyway the new set is broken because it doesnt have any cooldown I think, unlike other DOT effect this set can trigger almost every time and it stacks 3 times. Each stack has a different timer which can trigger other DOT sources.
