The scheme:
The number of loops must be divisible by 6 + 2 + 2 (edge stitch).
In the example the number of loops are 22.
1 row - knit loops only.
2 row - purl loops only.
3 row - purl 2, T2R, T2L, purl 2, T2R, T2L, purl 2, T2R, T2L, purl 2.
4 row - knit 2, purl 4, knit 2, purl 4, knit 2, purl 4, knit 2 (on drawing).
5 row - knit loops only.
6 row - purl loops only.
7 row - repeat from the 1-st row.
T2R - twisted 2 knit stitches to the right (2-st rc).
T2L - twisted 2 knit stitches to the left.
