A great game and grossly underrated , like all games with novel mechanics it takes time to learn. However as the mechanics simulate the theme the card play soon becomes instinctive. Go for the updated rule , basically the same as in the sequel heart of mists , with a revised timing mechanism, all available to download.
@@hyarmen4616 The updated version was much better. Many of the issues were due to it being a different system and the sequence of play was ambiguous, I 7nitially played it pre-release at UKEXPO, with the designer, which helped. Heart of Mists rulebook resolved the issues.

What probably sank this game was terrible rulebook, and at least in polish version it had so many errors in it that it was litereally unplayable
