Nice tutorial but you don't explain some shortcuts. Hard to follow for beginners.
That's the bait to join them😂
likeee? and for some reason it's every 3ds max tutorial, please how did he split the plane for the openings. i just kept hearing key board taps
It is very nice and useful sir.... I am George, a Freelance interior designer (A little small designer) doing small projects. According to me you are "The GOD OF 3ds Max Interior and Exterior Creator". Thank you very very much sir.
Thank you, I appreciate that comment but I think God is a bit much :)
Thank you very much for the master class!!!
Thank you so much for this amazingly useful tutorial! Unfortunately, the parts about scattering and lights setup are not for beginners, hope you will have time and desire to make an additional webinar on those subjects! Would be so happy to follow them!
here some causes, that increase render times and some quick tips how to get rid of them:
- vray displacement mod / displacement in 3D mode (use displacement only if neccessary in foreground and in 2D mode)
- high res textures (8k or 4k is not neccessary in a lot of cases)
- lowered blur value < 1.0 on texture maps (sharper textures, but longer render trimes)
- fog (use aerial perspective instead of environment fog, don't scatter GI)
- scattered items / vegetation (especially if high poly objects with high res textures are scattered)
- glass (turn off backside reflection and lower material depth)
- high render quality settings (don't go over 16 subdivs)
- HDRI dome lights with high res HDRI maps (use built in sky system from vray or corona if possible)
- not enough light in interior scene (put more light sources)
- high image res (don't go over 4000px on the longest side)
- make sure, your hardware is good: min. 64gb RAM, 16 core CPU with GOOD cooling...no laptop
This is exactly what I envision for my dream home!
Thanks you so much for all your work ! Thanks for share all this knowledge !
Unfortunately,
I can't get the shape of the frame to fit, and the shape I apply is disjointed at the joints of the frames.
I did the test like you in the simple frame, a rectangle, and it works.
The problem is that the vertices of my line that we take out of the facade are not connected to each other, they have the shape obviously, but I can't connect them using solder, refine+connect, CrossInsert or any other way.
I would appreciate your help please.
Thank you very much for everything again.
It's a pleasure to have people like you in the world.
I came to refresh my knowledge of 3ds Max. It was the first software I learned during my university days. A while back, I switched to Blender and have become very accustomed to it. I recently got a new job that requires me to work in 3ds Max. No hate towards 3ds Max, it is is a great piece of software, but I find it significantly slower compared to modeling the same thing in Blender, especially with all the Edit Poly thing. It feels quite clunky, and switching back to 3ds Max is a real struggle. Thank you for the tutorial, though!
By default, a frozen object is displayed in a gray shade. If you still want your textures to display, this can be changed in the Object Properties dialog by toggling off Show Frozen in Gray. For the beginners like me!
Wow what a tutorial. Sir you just gave me some new insights and techniques to cut short my mass modelling via 3dsmax. Thank you very much for this and GOD bless you sir. looking forward to being one of your students.
Mike, Man..
you are the best. really thank you
Давно не было видео у вас, уже стал думать что больше связок доходных не будет, хорошо что все в порядке))
We made lots of videos since this one, you might have missed a few :)

We try to host them each Thursday with some exceptions :)
thank you for sharing your knowledge it's really helpful for me ❤
Thank you! 👍
Great tutorial, thanks for sharing!

How we can find the line which you used to sweep the window?
Thank you so much ❤
You are number one bro(the best)
Thanks appreciate that
Hi i am Syed from India i like your video of 3d modeling thank you 👍
I am using sweep command but my window parts are one piece not double like yours why
really amazing tutorial ! i got a really close result to the final result and i didn't real think i would be able to, cant wait to start the new ones !
persoanly i wouldnt mind if the tutorial is 3 hours but no details skipped 😀i dont know about other people tho !

Glad you like it, I will try to take that into consideration next time, as we might just build something even more impressive :)
Absolutely love this!
Very good lesson sir. so helpful. thanks
Thanks, glad you like it!
Heyy, can you please share the window profile? Please!. Great Video !!
Thank you
It would be extremely helpful if you talked about what you are doing as opposed to addressing computer specs during some complicated parts that require shortcut keys! Great video still but as people have said, they've had to search for how to do things you're doing.
Thanks for the review, will focus on that even more.
thank you so much
hi, what is that command you use to swiftly align an extruded object to another object? thanks for this amazing tutorial btw

So great. Please what about the materials? How can we get the materials?
Hi! I'm new to your webinars. could you please tell me where you got the spline from for the window frames.

sir when i draw a plan then convert it to editable poly & select edges the shape doesnt devide these edges where i am stopping it gives me one edge so i have to use quickslice plan to have my lines for the walls, window etc & it take a lot of time so how can i solve this
Try using the same tools used in the video, for example ALT + 1 (swift loop)
Good job Mike
33:16 where can i get the window profile to sweep ?
Hey Mike, honestly any window will do or you can try tracing something similar. Just remember that you can add ID's to individual splines.
@@VizAcademyUK are there any scripts to create any profiles like that ?
can u tell the name of scripts ?
and i don't know where can i find sizes profile, can u help me with this too ?
Thank you in advance
great
Thank you so much...I would like to know if you guys have presential course?
Hi, where i can find the window section for the sweep?
thank you Mike for the floor plan and this awesome webinar. Can we add this project in our portfolio and what we have to write to show thats only rendering not our project ?? thank you
Please add "Case study - 3D Rendering" This should clear out all of the doubts :)
@@VizAcademyUK thank you😊
Which software did yu use, to modelize your plan

How did you add a line at 30:23, which shortcut?

Hi Thank u for the video but I have a question, how did u do when u drag the wall and snap to the other walls align, what is the short cut of this ?
While moving the edge/face/vertex, tap on S to activate the Snap tool. If you want it to stay constraint to an axis, you have to go to your Snap option (right click on the snap button), then go to option > translation > enable axis constraint.
thank you bro!@@ceciledumont2530
Which Processor and graphics card ...?
I CAN DRAW A BUILDING ON THIS SOFTWARE.... IF IT IS SO, WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN USING REVIT AND 3DS MAX
Revit is CAD'like software that has limited range of options when it comes to modeling and rendering and its specifically designed to aid Engineers and Architects, while 3ds Max has almost unlimited modeling capabilities that anybody can take advantage of for the creative porpoises.
hi AMAN this side ......want to learn max from basics
hello good evening I am following you from Uzbekistan. I can't log in to download the plan. something is wrong. Do you have a Telegram channel for this, so I can download it from there.
Please tell me which computer is yours
i have a question, why can't we do the window frames by default window creator that 3ds max already has? is there a special reason?
Wow.. I have some Questions to ask,
If I have I5 7th gen old PC Which version of 3d max is Good for work?
I would recommend focusing on the newest version its performance is typically better compared to older versions.
where can we get a drawing of this house.Unable to access the address you attached

hello i wanted to ask how do you pull a ploygon up like that at 1:03:40 becuase everytime i try to do it it pulls up other polygons too with it
notice : when i try to pull it up while holding shift it creates a copy of that polygon it doesnt pull it up
and when i pull up without shift everything pulls up
Hello, you must be using an older version of 3ds Max, this functionality was introduced in 3ds Max 2021 service packs, and its part of the default functionality ever since.
hey what key are u using when u want to add lines in edge section on editable poly when u were making the walls?
Can you pinpoint the time frame?
12:33 on
when u transfer the plane to editable poly and on edge section u just move line with what keyboard key ?
for creating more line on 1 edge ?
@VizAcademyUK
@@nimakarimi4434 Select an open Edge then hold shift and move the element. This will result in new geometry. Good luck
thank you @@VizAcademyUK
Can someone please tell me how he quickly added the few lines at 15:20? ❤
I think he held Shift and then moved the edge, it only works on open edges that aren't connected to other elements from one side.
