Since you are about to start a family you may want to do full DNA tests (not just siblings) to learn more about your heritage, including genetic diseases. You can try 23 and me heritage and health test, which you can buy for around $100-150 or less with a deal. You both probably have European genes and that's why you kind of look alike, both being tall, blonde, with light colored eyes.
There is this thing where people who have been married for a long time start to look like each other. I remember seeing a documentary about it a long time ago. Most of the time people will subconsciously match with people who look and act like they do. Its rare for different body and face types to match (round face and body with very skinny oval face and body, etc). Although some countries, like Iceland, are so small that they are required to have an app that tracks lineage. There is usually a 25% chance that the person they are dating is a cousin so they have to have the app and check before they start dating. Its pretty wild. Interestingly enough you both come from the mid north where most of the Scandinavian settlers landed anyway. When the vikings landed on Greenland and Iceland to settle they pushed all the way into the great lakes. Really neat to see where different settlers landed like Germans like to settle the mid west, Irish and British north east, French in the South, etc etc, so there is potential to be related but I highly doubt it. If by some wild chance you are cousins you will have to check with your state laws as most won't allow it.

I don't even want to imagine you guys not being together as you always are funny and happy whenever life gets too much depression constant low mood etc and always watching your antics lifts our spirits so I would say this is pretty important as uk needs more sun and nice weather season about now too as nearly spring 😊 the coincidence regarding the similar birth dates and within hours of each other is slightly unnerving and strange 😮

I know a couple that this happened to ya'll here in Oregon. They were separated at birth and given up for adoption and met in college fell in love and got married. They found out later they were bother and sister and stayed together, totally destroyed their relationships with both sets of adopted parents.

My late wife and I are also Indiana (Me) and Wisconsin births, Although our parent were both Wizgonzin (Manitowoc and Two Rivers, only 7 miles apart) My Indiana birth was more due to WW II circumstances/ gas rationing. She was a day a month and a year younger. I only lived in Indiana for 10 weeks.

The reason we have a tabu about dating close relatives is two fold:
1. Fear of grooming. You did not grow up together, so this does not apply to your situation.
2. Heightened risk of genetic diseases and deformities in potential children.
As long as your DNA tests comes back with you being further removed than 1st cousins, there is no real heightened risks there either. This is why there are no laws against marrying someone who is further removed than 1st cousins anywhere. Should your DNA tests come back with you being 1st cousins or closer related, you might want to consider not having biological children together. And you may have to look into the laws of your state.
