Prince can be grieving. That happened to my shih tzu two years ago. My Boxer had Cancer and they had never been separated and he passed that December and then my Kenzie stopped eating and was very clinging to me and she passed 28 days later, she had 15 seizures in one day. She grieved so bad, it’s basically stressed her out. You and Prince are in my prayers. I totally understand, the adjustment to loosing a part of your family. ❤

I am very pleased that you took him to the vet. That suddenly urinating in the house was a sign things weren't right. Plus he's getting to be an old man.
Try pill wraps. I use one from my vet. Two of my four takes drugs a couple of times a day. They work like a dream. Or there's always peanut butter.
About Lucky's stuff. There is no timeline. You can leave them there from now on. There is nothing wrong with that.
Thank you for the update on Prince, I hope he feels better soon. I also hope you are okay, to have such an extroverted character in your life like Lucky, then lose that is really hard. As you both grieve, be there for each other, call little Prince over to keep you company when you feel Lucky's loss, sit with him so he eats. This time right now is important to you both, I'm so glad you have each other, it's okay to grieve for someone or a pet who was like a speeding comet in your life, one minute there next gone. I hope there is somebody around like your mother or a friend who can listen to you, who will validate your feelings of loss and grief over Lucky. God bless.

So good to hear from you and see him, he is a sweetheart, and good appetite, he will grieve for Lucky, too animals are smarter than most humans.
Try making him pumpkin balls with oatmeal, pinch a tiny piece and put his med into a tiny bit of that for him, he has that ity bity Yorkie mouth. You did not tell us what medication he is on, Allergies, or an infection. Have a good night and keep him cozy, we love him.
Plzz keep them on a leash at all times especially in the park watch those big dogs because they will have them and gone. God bless you for taking care of that little baby dog 🙏🏽

I’m glad you and Prince are doing well. I had 2 yorkies and one is identical to Prince size and all. I had Patchie 13 yrs and Chocolate 15. I now have schnauzers and they won’t eat unless the other one eats. They just stare at each other until one gives in, it’s crazy. I continue to look forward to your videos and started when you got Lucky. Take care, RIP lil angel 💝 you’ll always be missed.

The last couple months have probably been hard on Prince as well. It's hard for an older dog to accept change, and accept a new dog into their home and life. So even that adjustment was probably hard for him, plus a Terrier right 😅😂 - they can be pretty feisty and territorial. But once he had accepted Lucky, he was probably energized by his presence. He's had a lot of changes in the last little while, plus he's becoming a little senior guy, we well little Prince 💖

My friend lives in front house..I have a middle age chihuahua..she has a very senior chihuahua and was fostering a puppy ( turned in very sick by a homeless guy). She fell in love with the now very active pup..a white terrier. The older dogs get very annoyed…but he is so cute and funny…thinks they are playing when they are growling at him. Dogs are all so different..just like humans.❤❤

Yes, I agree. He is grieving. My last two companions were two older little ladies and they acted like they didn't get along. My original baby always acted like she was tolerating my second baby. My second baby past first and my oldest baby was very very sad and I missed it at first. I felt so bad not acknowledging her pain immediately. Once I realized I had a talk with her and just held her and talked to her. I made sure to talk to her a lot after that and just grieve together until we got through it. 💕💕

I’ve had two dogs and one pass before the other. Dogs do notice when they lost their playmates or a family member. Our vet has even recommended for the dog/cat smell the dog that has deceased. Animals do mourn and our vet seemed to think it helps with their mourning process. I know Prince knows…he witnessed Lucky and you crying over him. He may be missing his friend. Another reason he wants you by him while he eats. Still praying for you two!🙏🥰 #Lucky ❤️
Yes, the difficult kids do deserve the same opportunities and additional help. But the kids who are doing it right, also deserve extra kudos and attention.
Hi both. There is no expiry date on grief, so you carry on as you are until you feel the time is right to remove Lucy's feeding bowls and stuff. Prince and you have to get used to that lovely little guy not being around. Maybe there is another rescue dog out there waiting for you guys someday. Never say never! X

I also had a Yorkie named prince too! Unfortunately he passed away back in 2022, prayers for prince hopes he gets better❤❤. So sorry to hear about Lucky’s passing. 🙏🏽❤️
He probably feels he now has his mom back to himself and now misses Lucky. My ShihTzu girl is 10 and she follows me around the house but now a cuddle bunny when it comes to cuddling. She has heart murmur tabs and the only way I can get her to take it is if I wrap it in a slice of wafer thin ham and fold

Maybe Lucky grew on Prince that he might now be changing his behavior since Lucky always seemed to want to be near you. I unfortunately don't have two dogs, but guessing that might be the reason why he won't eat now unless you're next to him.

I saw the first vedoe when you rescued Lucky then to run across your video just now and to find out Lucky has passed away and i just subscibe to your channel to follow his jouney, this is so heartbreaking looking back at old videos and read some of the comments that he is no longer here, i dont know how long it has been sence his passing but i am truly sorry for your loss❤
Awe, look at little Prince!❤adorable 😍 💗. Btw, I only have two videos on my channel of my late Dogs. My big guy died first and my little blind Yorkie knew. His sense of smell was so good because he was deaf in one ear, completely blind in both eyes. I was going to start creating more content. Then my big boy all the sudden need a blood transfusion I couldn't afford it, so I had to send him to doggie heaven. I was so depressed that it was hard for me to make any more videos😢

I lost my fur baby two years ago, going on three in April, and I just was able to take her bed away. I still have her toy baskets around the house. 😢 There is no timeline! 🙏🏾
I lost my big girl Lara April30th last year. I have her cremains on the shelf along with her sister's and her big comfy bed is still in my room with her blankets and pillows. My male dog comes upstairs to smell her bed, but he won't sleep in💔.

Hi there, I have 2 dogs ….Yorkshire 2 yrs old and Maltese 12 yrs old they are besties and I try not to think about them separating, Izzy (Yorkshire) always needs me and hubby in the kitchen while she eats😅 🤷🏽♀️tfs👍🏾💕🙌🏾
I've thought about blessing my life with a Yorkie. They seem like such lovely pocket sized pups. I'm a little stuck on Brussels Griffons though. They are back talking, stubborn little things. 😅 I guess I like that. And velcro pups. They need to be with you 24/7!!!! ❤. Not independent at all.
The Brussels’ Griffon breed looks so sassy and stubborn for real. lol. Prince used to be real playful. He’s always been fun size. He’s a full Yorkie breed, i just lucked up because he’s tiny like a teacup

HELLO ---- Depending on what medication Prince takes and what his condition is ------> you might want to consider cooking for such a tiny animal. I mean, "dog" food is usually so inferior to human food, one might want to. If you think about it, what kind of meat would be inferior anyway? chicken feet, heads, feathers (Google says they use feathers as chicken meal), same for beef, etc, AND they grind up cancinogenic chickens (chickens that have cancer, I know they say it isn't catching ----- BUT) and so on. My dog eats Tender and True organic kibble because dried meat is a dog's natural food (wolves dry meat by burying it and digging it up to eat six months later, my hybrid used to do that) so they have to eat it to digest well, but wet food such as two scrambled eggs with olive oil is better than anything I can think of if his poo is okay.My sixteen pound Chiweenie, Paco, has a tablespoon of veggies when I make a stew (I'm a sugarless vegetarian, 40 years). He loves it and stands around and cries until I serve the little King. Then he puts his crown aside and eats.

yeah dogs and other silent animals are what one would call psychic. they communicate with thought. they hear your mind which is why it is so hard for you to change your mind too quickly with them. bet you noticed this. there is, i think, a genuine animal "communicator" on UA-cam named Anna Breytenbach she is fascinating in her comments about the way animals think. You might like her.

i believe all animate beings have an afterlife. so remember you might see your dogs again. You might consider adopting another small dog (puppy) from the local shelter because Prince is so old. remember the Universe is infinite (so far even among scientists). so there is plenty space for a gazillion different worlds larger than ours.
Dogs feel things too. So maybe he needs time to understand Lucky is gone.
He is missing lucky, he needs you near. In your videos, he would turn his back to Lucky but not really go far some he hourld sit with his back to him. Dog language for "Bro, I like you, but right now you got too much energy." I had a female lab/shepherd mix and a male boxer/rotti mix. He was crazier than a bag of hammers, and she was a gentlie mommy dog. So opposite. But every night, Bucky would go and lay in front of Jessie's face and lick his face to groom him, and he would just sigh and fall asleep. So, like Prince and Lucky, total opposites in personalities but bae'sties.
Why not just say what the vet said and did. Hopefully Prince had complete blood work done… I live in a large city and the only vets that are open on Sundays is Emergency vets that are 24/7 .Why isn’t Prince eating some high quality canned food? Maybe you can get you viewers to buy Prince some!
