HOW TO FINGERCOIL FOR BEGINNERS | TRAIN CURLS FOR MORE DEFINITION AND VOLUME

  • Hi everyone! In this video I show you guys the finger coiling technique that I've been using most recently. I've heard this referred to as finger rolling as well on Instagram and TikTok. I love doing this technique because these finger coils give me a lot of volume in my hair! The top of my head always lays a little flat, so this trains my hair to get more fluffy - in a cute way LOL!
As I stated, my hair is permed and I consider it anywhere between 2B/2C/3A curly hair. The reason it's so broad is because it will look wavy if scrunched, or spiraled if finger coiled. I hope that you find the information I shared helpful and beneficial!

For your scalp you should try removing sulfates from as many products as possible! I had the same problem but switched to the Briogeo Be Kind, Be Gentle Aloe + Oat Milk shampoo and conditioner and can't recommend them enough!

"How you would care for permed hair is kinda the same as how you care for naturally curls" - This is 100% TRUTH! I used to get one perm every year from age 9 to 14. By 16, I had frizzy, sorta wavy hair. Finally, at age 18 I decided to see what would happen if I styled like I did when I had permed hair, and suddenly I had nice very wavy hair. Within a year of proper care, I had healthy curls. 🤷 So yes, proper styling is essentially the same!

I’m not educated on what a perm actually is but are you saying you were naturally straight but now you’re a natural curly? Just curious on how it works!

Denman brush is Not for detangling. Detangle first. So many people make that mistake. Awesome vid. I learned a lot.

Great!!! this is the best tutorial I've found. I appreciate that you capture it so near the camera that I can clearly see how it is actually done and you explain it in detail😍 I've successfully done it just now🥳
Other tutorials are hard to imitate because it's far and they do it fast, yours is just perfect! I love it. Thank you so much po. 😍 love from PH

Use coconut oil and peppermint essential oil mix before you shampoo
It really helps for dry scalp ❤️
