- In a crucial plea, the Supreme Court is scheduled to hear a batch of petitions urging for the 100% cross-verification of votes through Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) slips. The Supreme Court also sought responses earlier from the Election Commission regarding this issue. The current practice is to tally the slips from only five randomly selected EVMs per assembly segment. Yes, people have genuine doubt regarding the authenticity of EVM and it's administration.
They have doubts because they are idiots.
Clearing the doubts of idiots is not the job of SC and ECI. Those who dont trust EVM should stop voting.
