Ima answer this before I go watch his videos and it’s hard to tell after the processing but it sounds like it’s a lot closer to the snare or aimed at snare so I’d say either mono over head over snare/kick aimed at snare, in front of the kit room style, or behind him angled at the kit.
if I’m wrong I’m hanging up the studio engineering and going into plumbing
