New York in Wild Card- Another big game for Rodgers with 4 tds in a 38-13 win. Both the Giants and Seahawks were complete teams that were especially great on defense and Rodgers creamed them. Chandler S Bryant I just made a comment about that game. Yeah that was an awful loss for the Colts. That was the start of the media saying. Peyton/Dungy couldn’t win the big one. And that continued on in 03, 04, and 05 where they lost to the Pats twice and Steelers. They finally won in 2006 vs the Bears which put an end to such talk.
Pretty hilarious tbh. People love to say that Rogers and Brees are better than Brady but they never once found ways to win despite suspect defense like Brady has in the playoffs.
Well it’s hard to win when the defense gives up 37 to the giants, 44 to the falcons, 45 to the cardinals, etc. Brady only scored 17 against the giants and could only score 3 against the falcons for a good portion of the game (though I will admit most of the comeback was because of Brady against the falcons)
And suspect defenses? Brady played in 9 Super Bowls. The amount of teams that scored more than 30 on the defense? Once to the eagles a couple of years ago and now look how good their defense is. I’m not saying the defense now is otherworldly, but it’s definitely not the weak link of the team
Ryan Sansaricq what? The Packers lost in 2014 due to Capers calling a cover zero on the final play. The Packers lost in 2016, basically because every dB they had was injuried and Capers thought playing zone coverage 10-15 yards off the line of scrimmage was a great idea.
