Opie has made alot of bad career decisions. But turning down Ants offer to do a show....Was a massive egotistical mistake. Filming someone in the bathroom destoryed his radio career beyond repair....But a gig at Anthony company.... is at LEAST...Something. Instead he does weird depressing Facebook live videos to 7 people...and thinks its a podcast? He cant even get a gig spinning records at a radio station. His ego is too massive.
Ant offering him a job proved he was definitely the bigger man. No way Opie's ego would ever accept that.
Ol piss eyes desperately wanted opie so that he could advertise the O&A aspect and gain some viewers. It didn't happen and compound media remains a failure to this day.
