First of all, Chinese exam was already over by 16 Oct 2019 (Wednesday) and the paper you were showing is 2018's.😭 Also, this year's paper is the hardest ever Chinese paper in SPM history.
Secondly, Moral questions now come with restrictions like "Selain daripada nilai bidang Perkembangan Diri", meaning that Nilai 1.1-1.12 cannot be used sometimes.😭😭
So it is kinda saddddd😢

For the question to find x and y there’s an easier solution
Square equation 1 to make
X^2 - 6xy +9y^2
Equation 2 minus equation 1 makes 9xy=6
3xy=2
Add 3xy to equation 2 to make
x^2 + 6xy+ 9y^2=9
Or
(x+3y)^2=9
x+3y=+_ 3(this is meant to be plus minus 3)
Add this to equation 1 to make
2x = 4 or -2
x = 2 or -1
Solving, we get
x= 2, y= 1/3
Or
x=-1, y=-2/3
No calculator, no big numbers, and no big expansions
