I'm a female Capricorn and I don't necessarily agree with some of this. For one I could care less if a guy came up to me with flashy jewelry, bringing up fancy places and brands. I'll just think he's high maintenance. As for suggesting a fancy restaurant or other fancy establishment, I'd then think he's showing off. You were right about it being off putting to send a friend over, it does look suspect. He may even get me with the phone number pick up line - maybe. The thing is I don't like when someone comes across as if I'm easily bought or get side tracked by shiny things. While I am materialistic in my own right, I am not a name brand whore and I like to save a dollar. Most importantly, I find more satisfaction in knowing I can afford nice things for myself (not to say you were implying I can't). Side note* I may show him around (if I feel comfortable enough to), but I will not step off away from a public space with this person. This is just the Capricorn I am - just saying. I am also a female Capricorn, and I found this to be so accurate. Let me say though, that I didn't interpret the "bling" in the same way. IF wearing jewelry, watch etc. don't overdo it. Quietly understated is the way to go. Gaudy and ostentatious is a real turn off, and DEFINATELY no fake stuff. (and please no "logos" plastered everywhere!). I also can afford my own (don't we Caps just know how to take care of ourselves?), but you will not know that for a while because that's my business, not yours. I like quality over quantity, and I can recognize it, but if I can get it on sale that's even better. The "quiet place" part raised a red flag, but if it's a quieter spot in the same place,okay.. I am not going to leave with a stranger either. All in all, this one hit the nail on the head for me.

I would also toss out the details about "bling". Be yourself and keep yourself put together. Part of the attraction to a Capricorn is that you take care of yourself. A Capricorn is most attracted to QUALITY, so make yourself that quality person.
You should also know...a Capricorn is unlikely to give you up one they give you their heart. You will likely have a long lasting relationship once your Capricorn opens up and decides to put the effort into keeping you.

Hitting up a capricorn that you don't or barely know, to accompany you to a jewelry store or hint for them to take you to an expensive restaurant - is not going to work, unless they are already filthy rich and it's peanuts to them.
We don't like to get taken advantage off [and only tolerate this from our loved ones to a certain point], a near stranger or someone you're "just dating" just lost their chance with us, doing this as a strategy. For one - we don't like gold diggers and/or ppl who do not appreciate how hard we work for our money, and two - we don't have the time to waste on someone unimportant or for some frivolous activity, that does not serve us. This is something that gets strictly reserved for true + proven friends [not FWB] - family - and our life partners.

As far as the other comments about Libras being jealous types...I don't think that's really true. I don't really feel the need to be the center of attention.
