Pull the clutch in if you dont twist throttle because When the throttle is closed you aint get lubrication SO it is metal on metal and that wil screw your engine up
That's funny you say that. I constently blip the throttle. I've had it apart and there's not a sign of a mark anywheres. Still has 150 psi compression and lots of power and I have 60 hours on the engine. So no I don't think so
Dirt Slinger i agree with ya, ive never in my life heard of pulling in the clutch all the time if your not twisting throttle, and i really doubt it would hurt anything, i could understand maybe if you were coming to a stop and riding down mountain, but anything else, should be fine. Plus 2 strokes are easy and cheap to rebuild anyways
@@dirtslinger7661the best way to keep a two stroke from blowing up when on wide open throttle, just squeeze the clutch let the engine go down for 10 seconds then go back on it.
My 2nd bike was and is a 02kx125. They're are good and fast and reliable yes but if u mean reliabe as in nothing ever breaks then no and sadly thats the same for all dirtbikes due to the amount of abuse they endure. Enjoy tho they're a great bike
If I’m on a straight road this is how I ride and I engine break and I have 70 hours on my piston just changed it and the boar was fine so ignore what people say
@@joeyimber6725 Dude he was engine breaking the whole video. There's no engine breaking on a 2 stroke because you shouldn't do it. Not that it doesn't exist
10 seconds in and I was already cringing over all the engine braking!
Good video tho
anton clutch in blip throttle
U can tell this guy came fresh off a 4 stroke, he won’t ride the power band either

Stop on the throttle u keep on going on and off just hold it wide open bro
If I held it wide open the whole time it would blow up
hes not on a motorcross track
@@dirtslinger7661 It would blow up and you'd go into a tree

Do they have 6 gears?

you. ming...Ming...ming Ronnie Mac miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing I need my beer
Going from an 85 how different is it going up hills and kicking it over and stuff
A lot more low end power than an 85. Still a 125, it likes to be ridden on the pipe, but definitely way more lug power
