i myself scream in a band. and yes he does exhale alot, but also he does inhale quite a bit. have you listened to all of CYB? he does it alot. like at 3:58, 4:01, 4:14 and so on. he doesnt do it as much live as he does it on the cd. oli tends to switch up words sometimes and skip parts. or inhale on a exhale part in the cd. but he definatly does both. and for people who say inhales are not hard and that the only way to go is exhales, look right here. they both are great ways to scream mixed toge

Sometimes i must laugh when i am thinking of this and when they are now. Sempiternal is not bad, but this is way more creative and before olis throut surgery it had awesome screaming in it.

Oli sounds incredible here because he isn't running and jumping around alot. His screams require a shitload of air and fitness. These days he isn't as fit, and smokes and party's ALOT. So imagine how hard it would be to get wasted, smoke a pack or two, then appear on stage the next morning/afternoon, hungover as hell. It's hard to maintain fitness with smoking, let alone touring/partying. He hasn't lost it, he just gets exhausted, and his vox suffers from it.

I'm not here to bitch about these guys. This is my favourite song off Count Your Blessings and I fucking love the whole album. Dont care for much after that apart from a few off Suicide Season, but this album is just fucking brutal. I've seen them twice (once in 08, once in 09) and they were pretty good, wish they could just go back to this sound really.

I have see BMTH twice now and the first time I was really disappointed because Oli was so drunk that his voice was bad but the second time he sobered up decent and tore the place apart. So I am sort of undecided on my final decision. Still, the best hardcore show that I have seen thus far is still Zao. They tear it up.

The thing I love second most about these videos of old live footage (apart from how amazing Oli's voice was!) is that they seem so fucking happy to be there! They absolutely love it! These days they look pretty miserable on stage. I supposed they've probably been through a lot since then but it seems like they've lost their way a little. :(

It wasn't a bender that lasted a month, he STILL does that shit all time. Their music has changed ALOT. Of course he isn't going to do the same shit in the studio when they change their sound EVERY record.
the thing is that when you're just screaming like he does in CYB it doesn't get that exhausting. But now he's combining with midhc kinda shit and when you do alot of different techniques you get pretty exhausted. Anyway what he's doing now is very hard but he could pull it of if he took more care of his self haha..
