I could spend months in Germany going from smaller centre to smaller centre and never set foot in Berlin, Frankfurt or München and be very happy. Of course, I would have to improve on my beginners German. I have taken only the first two of a possible eight courses. Cannot depend on English in these places, and would not insult Germans by assuming they should speak it.

Very nice Marktplatz. They are my favourite part of smaller cities in Deutschland, and something completely missing in Canada.
