It sounds like cheap thrills, the tune is the same and the drum rythm is the same and the sound is the same and the song structure is the same... so the whole song was copied! just the lyrics and the bpm are a bit different...
P4YZE Are you kidding? 😂 Cheap Thrills doesn't at all sounds similar to Never Give Up. Both have different beats, styles and grooves to it. "Never Give Up" has classical Indian music vibes and the drum beats are Bollywood inspired (as being Indian I can tell that easily). Whereas "Cheap Thrills" is a synthpop, bouncy party anthem with electro-pop style. Both have different rhythms. Though the structure is pretty similar but it doesn't count cause nowadays most of the songs have the same structure. Also Sia's songs are always different and unique from those of other mainstream artists' songs that almost sounds similar with those same old beats and lyrics in it. You should blame them first then Sia.

I'm so glad that an artist like Sia is finally getting the respect & fame she deserves (after 1000 Forms of Fear & Acting), it's been long overdue. She's the best songwriter of her generation, and has an angelic voice. She wrote many songs for others in the past which went on to become chartbusters and the people who sang them took away all the credit & fame, and Sia went unnoticed. Now, since she's started singing her songs and is releasing her music more often, it's no surprising she's become one of the most popular artists in the world at the age of 40! She's done a lot of songs for other artists but none of them have charted good but diamonds and it wasn't because of sia, actually the songs that she's been doing have done pretty good because they are flat pop songs, so repetitive, the good Sia songs are the ones before 1000 FOF but of course that doesn't mean I don't like her or her actual work, is just that she's gone so mainstream and fell in the same game, her songs are starting to sound alike.
I'd like to say that Sia has been singing for a long time. Way before 1000fof. She was singing in the 90's and a little before that. If you want powerful songs listen to her songs from Colour the Small One, and Some People have Real Problems.

It sounds like cheap thrills, the tune is the same and the drum rythm is the same and the sound is the same and the song structure is the same... so the whole song was copied!

P4YZE Are you kidding? 😂 Cheap Thrills doesn't at all sounds similar to Never Give Up. Both have different beats, styles and grooves to it. "Never Give Up" has classical Indian music vibes and the drum beats are Bollywood inspired (as being Indian I can tell that easily). Whereas "Cheap Thrills" is a synthpop, bouncy party anthem with electro-pop style. Both have different rhythms. Though the structure is pretty similar but it doesn't count cause nowadays most of the songs have the same structure.
Also Sia's songs are always different and unique from those of other mainstream artists' songs that almost sounds similar with those same old beats and lyrics in it. You should blame them first then Sia.

Sia has given me so much light in my word. These songs have helped me go through so much trouble in my life, I'm truly grateful for an amazing artist like her. She has also been my entire child-hood, I remember in 4th grade when we did a morning meeting I nominated her for the school music choice in the start of the meeting, I won, and everybody absolutely loved her music. like I said before in this comment, I am truly grateful for someone like her. she has inspired so many people and thats what I love most about her.

I never expected this film to be so good. I was wrong
I lost a child to cancer, I lost a child to drugs & schizophrenia (estrangement), I made it through 2 very different but difficult divorces, & I’m a single mom doing it all on my own for years … no help from their bio father (who was extremely abusive), & I left a cult religion I was born & raised in & lost almost every friend I’ve ever had …. and I’m still standing. This song “Never give up” has been blasted in my car a lot lately.

This short film reminds me first when, as I struggled to keep my job at the hospital kitchens, I walked to work in the winter's cold, through all sorts of freezing winds, ice, snow, no sidewalks... There were no buses which could get me there on time. So I walked sometimes hours in advance. Sometimes I slept or at least stayed warm in a train station shelter. One time, a gang banger told me to leave, thaat the place was "his." I took the wise path, away, walking to keep warm. Today, not only am I alive and well. I help others who like me, struggle and often suffer. And this gives me more will to overcome aging, sickness, anything.
