Me have theory for dandy I think the reason why he wants the tapes is to watch them because it reminds him of his past self when he didn't have any flaws and when everything was okay back then ,and I also think he watches them to try to remember how he used to be and maybe that's why he has tapes stuck in his body,but I dunno that's just my theory
dandy lore: dandy was never evil his toon handler forced him to kill all the other toons and the reason why dandy loves tapes is because the all past episodes are on it so he collects tapes to remember his friends.
