I’ve been getting comments that the music is a bit too loud and distracts from the voiceover! I will work on improving my audio levels for future videos 🙏🏼 thanks for watching and for the constructive feedback!
Hi Sarica, I use two TNs right now. My main is the blue cover TN with plastic zipper insert, weekly planner and journal. I recently began something called heartwork journaling that really helped with my depression, and that journal is in my olive TN along with a Kraft folder.
i used my travelers journal as a gift to my boyfriend for his birthday. decorating them with stickers and photos for reminiscing our love story is kinda cute!
Currently, I have an olive tn that holds my journal. I currently have a leather pouch insert, and plastic dashboard insert. Then I have a blue tn that holds my sketch book and watercolor notebook. Lastly, I use my passport camel tn as a wallet and it has 3 inserts in that. I've also started carrying around an A6 notebook that will later be my planner. Stationery is so much fun.
I've got a knockoff TN because I like extra bands and a built in pen loop. Currently I have 7 inserts in a book with 4 bands--1 kraft folder, 1 zipper pouch, 1 laminated shaker dashboard, 1 notebook with my permanent bujo collections so I do not have to rewrite anything too frequently, 1 bujo for daily rapid logging, 1 book for notetaking, and 1 for art journaling.
@@AJ-qj4di It is a sealed pocket made of thick clear plastic that has glitter, sequins, and tiny metallic bits in it. I put sticky notes with temporary reminders or information I need to give to someone else on it.
Came across your video and your bujo looks amazing! I have two traveler's notebooks for daily use. The regular size includes one weekly plan, one working note, and one language learning note. The passport size is mainly my financial tracker. I'm also using Hobonichi for personal journal. But I would give more points to traveler's notebook for easier daily carrying around.
Perfect timing, Sarica! The 2020 planners and accessories have just come out here🛍📖🖋 I use mine the same way as you: a planner, sketchbook, and journal. I have the kraft folder for letters, but also the plastic zip pouch for a pen and travel washi card, and card holders as my wallet and instax album. And pocket stickers on the inside cover (they're pretty removable, thank goodness!)
Immediately clicked onto this video when I saw the notification!! This video made me so happy after my very bad day today 😔 so thank you so much Sarica 😊 Love your videos so much 💕
I use two Traveler's Notebooks. One holds my journal and letter insert (the letter is where I write letters to relatives who passed, it helps when I miss them). The second one is the main one. It holds the Inbox, Calendar, Tracker and a spare because I can't go without four inserts for some reason.
Love this video! Very informative! I have a two string TN from websters and I'm not sure how to use it! I might give your tip a try in that one. Also, I just love your baby bump peeking in and out of the video -- the cutest ever!
You set up, hand writing and art is amazing! Loved the video! I have been using my travelers notebook as my wallet and only have one notebook which is my financial tracker, and this set up has been so useful to me! Seeing your set up has inspired me to try to keep my travelers notebook more minimal!
Sarica Studio have you ever done a pen test in the Travelers inserts? I usually bujo in really thick paper so wonder how this paper handles things like the microns, hi tech coleto, midliners, crayons super tips, or which pens are good/better.
I really love this travelers note journal. It’s so cool and aesthetically pleasing♥️ I recently uploaded my October weekly journal with some doodles and I would love to try a book like yours soon ♥️
Such a nice setup! Ever thought of putting kits together containing everything featured (including stamps, Washington, scissors, stamp & ink pad, scissors) to sell???
I'm so happy I found your video. I'm fairly new to using a traveler's notebook. I have been using notebooks for a long time but found them to bulky to keep in my purse. Which is smaller than the notebook I use. Then the pages come off easily when handled too often. I found a cheap traveler's journal at my local book store. Had three inserts, grid, blank, lined. I didn't know how to use it. We on UA-cam and was getting frustrated on how to use the journal. I came across this video and was So Satisfied with the content. You actually showed a beginner how to use the inserts depending on her preferences. Thank You! Question: Where do you get your journaling supplies? Once again, Thank you for the video. Looking for more.
Hi sarica 👋🏾 I was wondering if you think that the travelers notebook system is a bit more affordable over time vs the hobonichi system. I’m asking you because I know you have used both. I want to change my journaling system for next year and I think my set up for my tn would be quite similar to yours. I think my current main concern is how many inserts I would buy in a year. If you have any input on this please let me know ☺️💕
Hi Jade! Yes, it would depend on how many inserts and which type you get. I'm pretty sure for me, the TN system is much more affordable because I use 6-8 inserts per year, and I don't get the more expensive pre-dated ones, I stick with dot grid or kraft! So for me, getting a new hobonichi + cover every year would be more expensive :)
I love your style!!! I love how customizable to traveler's notebook is. How do you write in a straight line in your kraft notebook? I always go off on an angle when I write on blank pages.
Great video thank you! Just wondering how difficult it is to Bujo or journal on the left side of the page? I am struggling with writing on the left side of page as it’s far lower than the right side when the first book is opened.
Have bought my first TN diary and so gutted about the ink ghosting from my rubber stamps. Which ink pads have the least ghosting on the thin paper of the tin diary please?
I've never thought of having them all in one place like this! I carry a bunch of little notebooks and things and I should probably convert into this setup! Thanks so much for this! And I'm not sure if you've answered this question before but where did you purchase your writing board? I need one of those in my life
I'm very curious about these small notebooks and if you can create a bound book with these signatures at the end of the year? Is that something that would be possible? I usually use a bound book for journaling/planner/sketchbooks to begin with... but I see how just having a cover that allows you to replace inserts to cut down on bulk & weight could really be ideal! I love to travel with my books but as you can imagine, someone with a daily practice tends to start off with big books and it can feel like carrying around a sack of potatoes after a while. (..and I apologize if more research into your channel would answer this question but I'm admittedly lazy and rather just talk directly to someone instead of silently cyberstalk them! I hope it's not a redundant question you have to answer frequently!)
came across your channel recently and fell in love with your bujo style - I think it speaks a lot to what I want to do with mine but never really knew how to format spreads and utilize collaging techniques. Is there a video where you introduce your materials? (specifically your letter stamps and ink~I love the font!)
Never been this early before! Loving this video and only 10 seconds in! Do have to agree the music detracts and makes it hard to hear your voice. Otherwise, lovely video and journal!
I like TNs except for the fact that they don’t lay flat. I was using a monthly insert, a dot grid bujo and a watercolor sketchbook. And I didn’t have any problem hearing you over the music
I been wanting to do a journal but I don’t have the time or private time to do it 😭 it would be so cool to look back at it in 10 years or maybe before you die you give it to your daughter to read, if you have a daughter 😅
I’ve been getting comments that the music is a bit too loud and distracts from the voiceover! I will work on improving my audio levels for future videos 🙏🏼 thanks for watching and for the constructive feedback!
Still a great job !!! Love your set up
It was fine with headphones tbh
I have hearing loss and find it very difficult to hear you with the music. I don't think you need it or that it adds anything.IMO
i have the passport size and you have inspired me so much to start journaling again in quarantine - binge watching your videos
Same here! I just got one today ;)

xyzzy75 oooh having a separate bujo for permanent collections is genius!
xyzzy75 what is a shaker dashboard?

Do collage. Don’t use as a calendar yet. Still using a FranklinCovey as a calendar. I teach Bible Journaling classes using traveler notebooks.
Did you end up filming your 2019 memory book flip through? I'd love to see!
Inspiring as always 🌼

This is very nice.

thank you so much! I use a Taroko writing board underneath blank pages and the guidelines show through to help me keep my writing straight :)
I didn’t get a notification for your video so, I’m sorry I’m late to watching but thanks for the upload!
Great video thank you! Just wondering how difficult it is to Bujo or journal on the left side of the page? I am struggling with writing on the left side of page as it’s far lower than the right side when the first book is opened.
Thanks! Have you tried putting something under the left side to balance it out a little?
Have bought my first TN diary and so gutted about the ink ghosting from my rubber stamps. Which ink pads have the least ghosting on the thin paper of the tin diary please?
Hi! This is exactly what I was looking for! I was curious though, do you not use a future log in the bullet journal? Thanks so much!
omg the patina on your notebook looks so f*cking lovely wow T_T i can't wait for mine to look like that eventually!!!!
good things take time! with all the love you're showing your tn, i'm sure it will happen before you know it ;)
What is the writing board for?

i highly recommend it! i bought the writing board on amazon: amzn.to/314oqvD

Where do you get the cover for your journal?
So pretty!! 🥰 I not sure if you’ve said this in another video but I was wondering what is your favorite pen or the one you keep coming back to?
Thank you!! The pen I use daily is the Ferris Wheel Press fountain pen. I also love my Lamy Lx 🥰
Never been this early before! Loving this video and only 10 seconds in! Do have to agree the music detracts and makes it hard to hear your voice. Otherwise, lovely video and journal!
askdi thanks for the feedback!! I should have increased my voiceover volume or made the background music volume lower.
I recently started watching your videos. I saw the 2019 notebook haul. What happened with the blue traveler's notebook?
Flip through of sketch book insert!!!! 🙆🙆🙆🙆
Okay that’s so vintage and cute! Subscribed 🥰 I just uploaded some weekly spread inspo ❤️✨
