Elder Holland is passionate, caring, thoughtful and honest. An excellent representative of the Lord's Church that cares about everyone, reaches out to help those in need, and puts faith into action (James 1:27).

My grandmother never spoke a negative word in her whole life toward any man. She was a saint! Her mothers name is Sarah Elizabeth Hammer. I pray for the day the evil one is bound, so as never to turn men to such atrocities ever again. Rip (Austin Hammer), Rip (John York Jr.) RIP Joseph Smith Jr, his brother, and all others who have been killed for their faith in God.

I have never heard a more impassioned and competent explanation of this monumental problem that all nations are facing. He is a great humanitarian and theologian. During the crisis at the Texas border, he reminded us of how the Savior would have us care for the families facing such tremendous horrors. A godly man bringing a godly message.

Anyone can answer these questions once they know, and they will know once they give faith a try... It could be either right or wrong, and the best thing one could do to know which is true is by investigating, as directed in the scripture "James 1:5".
I feel Brother Abbott is just rejoicing because he feels he has found the truth, and once a man feels he has found the truth to the universe, God, and all, then why not comment as he did?
The best way to understand is to put yourself in another's lifestyle with an open heart and mind.
To know whether something is true or not, give it a try! It will feel right, and there will be a warm feeling in the heart.. this feeling is joy, also known as the Holy Ghost.
Hope everyone has a great day :)
      (good luck)

That's because I was implying that to really know the truth, and answer all the reasonable questions one has in mind (about another's religion, for example), you should try to learn as they learn, and see things from the honest point of view.
I'm glad to see you'd like to hear from Brother Abbot and I, but I am not sure we are the proper representatives if you want to know core church principles and doctrine. You can find all this at LDS.org or Mormon.org, Thanks.

DayzZr, it looks as if we were right about hugh jorgan's dishonesty. What's funny is that he makes implications one things we didn't even say further proof of what you said, that he needs to humble himself.

Make no mistake. In every American's family history there is a refugee story of some kind. Whether that story be physical or spiritual, it has happened. Bear that in mind when we move forward into the future and make important decisions regarding other refugees. If we do not learn from history, we are bound to repeat it. With the way the world is going, Americans, especially religious ones, are headed towards refugee status, too. Righteousness is becoming decreasingly tolerated.

As an exmormon, I agree with you guys. What a humble and bright apostle.
Sometimes I think the LDS church is conserving conservatism. Let's be honest.
That, and wishful thinking. Carry on though. One does what they like in life.

ULTIMATE QUESTION - HOW MANY MUSLIMS ARE JOINING THE MORMON CHURCH? This is important to my research... I need real percentages or actual counts. Apparently, they are joining Christian churches.

I can't believe anyone who has the light of Christ would believe in killing or abusing another human being for not believing, or for any reason; but that most Muslims have just been forced to go along. Now must be the time for escape, light and refuge hopefully, for many. I would hope our country will not tolerate cruel things against our laws; religious beliefs or not. A great many innocent and pure in heart may be depending on it.

Not all Religious Cultural traditions are acceptable or lawful in civil-rights based societies. Barbaric atrocities against individuals, especially women that were once confined to specific regions have swept across the globe. Such a Poetic stretch to compare Mormon "Refugee's" to the modern-day issue of mass unfettered migration or more accurate invasion's that are highly orchestrated by Globalists. Wonderful wordsmith as always Elder Holland.

    • @michaelhancock9636
      @michaelhancock9636 5 років тому +2

Whether orchestrated by globalists or intolerant bigots, ignorant people and government our history speak for itself. Our ancestors were forced from their homes and forced to relocate 3 times. Family members were assaulted, murdered, beaten, and raped. Their homes were sometimes burned and it was written into law that it was legal to kill a "Mormon" on the spot. The early pioneers were seeking safety and refuge from tyranny, therefore, yes they were refugees. You cannot minimize the experience because history speaks for itself. It's no stretch.

Juliet Gonzalez I believe many refugees are given little choice but to leave their homes creating the opportunity for terrorists, traffickers or smugglers to go along with the migration. As for the real refugees, it’s not their fault and any harm come to anyone for their kindness that is done will not go unnoticed by our Heavenly Father. He blesses all for their kindness shown to others. The blessings may not come until after that person’s mortal life is over, but there are riches in Heaven, beyond anyone’s wildest dreams if they choose to accept the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to be like Him. Of course everyone needs to do their best to ensure their own safety, but if suffering or problems be caused because of their kindness, there will be greater blessings eventually in return. Elder Holland and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is right this.
