Hello! My friends and I decided to do this same tour of Cotopaxi. I was wondering what time of year y’all did this trip so I can get a better gauge of the temperatures on the volcano?? We are doing it in the beginning of May.
I can imagine how challenging this hike is, both with grade and at elevation. Did you take the serpentine trail or did you take the quicker, straight up trail?

It’s tough if you’re not in very good hiking shape or struggle with elevation. I think we took the most direct trail
