Great content and presentation. Do you mind sharing what software you used to capture your screen while recording the class? I need to do similar thing for my students. Thanks
It could be either that some of the slide layouts (in slide master view) have different colors, which will override the slide master, or that some of text on the individual slides has been changed (which will override the slide master and the layout). One way to troubleshoot this is to create a new slide with a specific layout, and type some text in it. If the text color doesn’t look right, then that means it is probably an issue with the slide layout. We hope this helps!
Thank you for this but it does not answer the question what if I want to keep the picture and the logo on top of it when placed from the slide master ...
Also, if you want the placeholder to be behind the image, this can be difficult, as PowerPoint generally places all slide master images in the background. The only way we know of to keep images on top is to use ActiveX controls, which are a bit more advanced. This article shows the process for doing this: officeoneonline.com/ppttips/keep_master_image_ontop.html. Hope it helps!
I have no words enough to praise this excellent tutorial. Just perfect!
This is such an amazing feature yet it's barely discussed in couple of courses that I took online about PPT.

We use Camtasia to record these videos. We hope it helps!
Yes it does. Thank you.
Changing the font worked for me but changing the color of text in master slide didn't change it in the actual slides :( why?
