Because of this video, my dad and I went to the national cultural center where we were able to see a performance from tie children. What a treat! You’re also the 2nd person to recommend the Red Clay museum. We truly enjoyed ourselves. Thanks for the video and keep up for good work.

Also, we set up a YT channel for the Tahma Cultural Troupe. This isn't the kids, but the top tier dancers that go out and perform at events. Here's the link: youtube.com/@tahmaculturaltroupe?si=hEgmcjiPwzPu2hTc

Hi Trina, it's Kathleen, we met at the monkey sanctuary last week. I love your videos and I wish I had seen this one before I booked the trip. Oh well, I'll just have to come back for another visit. 😊

🤣🤣🤣 when I was traveling to different parts of Ghana. I had to keep changing the pronunciation in different ways to be understood. No one seems to agree on how to pronounce it - or at least when I'm talking with a Los Angeles accent (probably why I favor the food pronunciation 😉).
But thanks. I love Tamale 🥰

Thank you for Sharing. Tamale is my home away from home. I have never heard of Chez Mary, so I will have to check it out when I return to Tamale in a few months time. There are a few other locations I know of that serve real coffee that I have found during my time there. One of them is called Sugar and Spice, which is near king Davids. Another one near there is called Luxury. Now I can say Sugar and Spice 100% has coffee, as I was just there a short time ago, but I haven't been to Luxury since 2019, and they had since relocated small small down the road. Im not sure if coffee is still something they do but it is definitly worth checking out :)

I loved this video. There are some places I will visit on my next trip. I did have a bit of a problem, your mispronouncing Tamale every time you said the word. It is not a Mexican dish..

I'm glad you like the video. Thank you. I know what you mean on the pronunciation. I actually was pronouncing it differently, but then I noticed that my best friend, who's from here, said it more like this. So, I adopted his pronunciation. Maybe I'll have to do a survey of local people and see how everyone pronounces it. 😀
