Good explanation! The bottom port design makes sense to me, but why do most of your competitors place the top port not directly over the mems? Why is the port also much smaller than the actual mems microphone itself? Wouldn't it be better to make it as big as possible to gather as much sound as possible?
In that case you will open the top chamber which wont be a good idea. Big whole small= chamber. Did you buy any of these? Am planning to but still not sure what to get.
