I've always loved these travel-to-a-new-place episodes. It just gives a feeling of excitement and its also the perfect time to introduce new characters.

Good theory, it made me think of one that supports yours. Remember how when Yugi and his friends were in the Valley of the Kings in the room with the beam that said "He who solves the Millennium Puzzle must return the wish he was granted. Only then the door shall be opened" but Yugi was able to get pass without sacrificing any of his friends. Maybe it was coincidence, maybe it was because they weren't formed from wish ,Yami was. You can also re-interpret 'the door shall be opened' line as the door to the afterlife that Yami went through at the end. Kinda like how people in the Japanese version re-interpret the 'something you can show but can't see' riddle form the Millennium Puzzle's Box.
It's really intense to think about too. He thinks Yugi is the only chance he has to maybe somehow help his sister. He'd risk his life to get Exodia just to give Yugi a chance for her.
Gotta love how Solomon just can’t catch a break, Kaiba’s AR projections give him a minor stroke, and not even a week later his soul gets ripped from his body.
This was one of the first anime I ever watched and I've watched dozens more over the past two decades, but Weevil throwing away Exodia is still the most disrespectful thing I've ever seen in an anime.

So, Weevil would be guilty of Grand Theft, therefore subject to being held under Citizen's Arrest until the police (or I'm guessing official private security here?) can arrive.

You don't understand, what Weevil did was an act of bullying, and those cards still meant much to Yugi His grandpa gave him them. Even my own Exoida set is special to me, though I haven't in years and don't duel with them anyway, I worked really hard to get them all. If someone messed with my cards, I'd do more than just duel them in the next ep.
I just finished season 0, and it was painful to watch those flashbacks. In the beginning it was cool to see that they didn't just throw that story away completely, I'm really sad that almost all trace of shadow games were removed. That was the best part of the anime in my opinion :(

Poor Joey I know what it’s like to have your parents being divorced although both my brother and I didn’t get separated after our parents got divorced. I love how each character in Yugioh have different motivations like the reason why they dueled. Poor Joey I know what it’s like to have your parents being divorced although both my brother and I didn’t get separated after our parents got divorced. I love how each character in Yugioh have different motivations like the reason why they dueled. Weevil you bug eyed creep how dare you throw Yugi’s cards out of the boat it’s maybe because you’re scared that Yugi will beat you but my boy can easily take you down. Lol I can’t help but laugh because Yugi’s shyness always gets to me it just reminds me of how my boyfriend would be shy to see me but still we both love each other.
