Thank you for this wonderful video. So after the kids paint the pot with the colored slips, you then let the piece dry, then dip it in clear glaze, then fire? Are you skipping the bisque firing and doing only one firing?
My son is 10 years old. There are not many kids who buy a pottery wheel he could have benefitted from a class. It is daily practice. Thanks for the video.
Hi! I loved this very informative video you made! I believe I heard right; that after throwing the kids can glaze their pot right away? I have skipped bisque firing before but never painted the wet clay...that would be time saving! Is that correct? Thank you.
I have the kids paint the wet projects with my Clay Paint, which is prepared slip. I let it dry for 8-10 days and then dip in a my clear low fire glaze (Clay Lady Glaze). It is a time saver for sure! Good luck!
Loving how your instructions are direct and classical kudos👏
This may be a class for children, but I have learned more from this video than I have from multiple others. Simplicity works on older folks too!
Thats wonderful!!!!!!!!! Congrats on you beautiful work!!!!
You are so good...

Good luck to you and your son!
Danielle, Do you have a video of you teaching a child to throw on the wheel? Our granddaughter is 11. Thanks so much!
This video is how I teach a child to throw on the wheel, using the squirrel story. I have another video of how I teach adults.
