i so appreciate the time you take to explain every step and all the little details! it really does help and never goes unnoticed. loved this tutorial!! ✨🌞
I am beginner on sewing your video help me alot 😊 I never learnt from anyone , I just buy sewing machine and copy your style 🥰😘 thank you for all the tips .. PS I am from india 🇮🇳
ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL VIDEO, MADDY!! ALTHOUGH I CANNOT HEAR VERY WELL AND HAD TO PUT THE VOLUME ALL THE WAY UP TO HEAR YOUR SOFT VOICE, I SURE APPRECIATED YOUR CLEAR EXPLANATION OF ALL THE DETAILS, AND I'M VERY IMPRESSED WITH YOUR LITTLE OUTFIT!! YOUR "JUST DO IT" ATTITUDE HELPED EASE MY FEAR OF TRYING TO MAKE A TOP BY TRACING A GARMENT THAT I HAVE AND AM COMFORTABLE IN... THANKS!! :D
Love this & love your videos. It's especially useful to see beautiful garments made without an over locker or other expensive equipment. Might make a set like this for my sister for xmas!
I just love your videos! You have really inspired me to use thrift shopped fabric and turned it into a new piece of garment. I can just lose myself in the process. It so generous of you to do this kind of videos and inspire the rest of us! Thank you!
Just finished following your tutorial and loved it so much I made a matching set for my sister and I to wear on vacation and lounge at the pool. Thanks for this video!!
I loved watching this and how you made the steps clear and simple. Definitely inspired to make my own set 😊 I appreciate your relaxed and slow nature in your videos, it feels like hanging out with a friend.
Do you think a beginner could make this? I think a really big part of why I like your channel is because you speak. Some tutorials just show things but I get bored and disengaged. Thanks Maddy!
This came into me feed and at first I thought no way, but as I watched you assemble the shorts I knew you were onto something. You figured out a clever way to make flattering chunky shorts. I know it's fall here, too cold for shorts, but I have some snuggly fleece I never finished with, so I'm going to see if I have enough for shorts and a top for loungewear!
This is such an awesome and stylish little set, and I can’t believe you made them from old towels...sustainable and genius! So happy to have found this in my recommended videos 💚 I’ve never attempted bias trim before but you’re tempting me to give it a try!
YAS this is so cute!! I just started sewing and your videos are by far my favourite to watch! So easy to understand and learn from. This is a perfect GC summer set ❣️
Great project and I love how your editing your video! I want a set like this but as pyjama because it is definitely not the season to wear this here! Too cold!🤣 Thank you!!
@@TheEssentialsClub Yeaaahh! Let’s go by more fabric to do some coton pyjama and ignore the fabrics that I already have and that’s waiting for me to use them! 🤣🤣
This is so amazing!!! I picked up a towel set today to make one! One q - when you join the collar and use the bias binding to cover the seam and help keep the collar in place, are you sewing it with the thread that matches the towel colour as the understitch will come through onto the back of the shirt? I suppose the folded down collar will hide most of it, right? Thank youuuuuu
Haha yeah the short version definitely won’t make the winter cut. But in general the material super cosy and I actually have a vid coming up for a warmer towelling garment 😏
Hiii ! So glad I found your video as I bought some vintage towels with the idea of making a two set like you. How much bias tape did you end up using ? Thank you so muchhh
So cute maddie,I hope I run into u one day, seeing that we live virtually next door to each other, also pending when Queensland opens to Australia lol I just live on the boarder in Tweed Heads it's so annoying I am really hanging out to just even going to spotlight or to my favourite eating places in cooly
I hope so too! I’m sure once it all opens up we’ll cross paths at some point as I’m just along the border zone too. Can definitely relate to the pain of not being able to easily access the things we normally could 😭 so over the divide it’s causing. Definitely come up and say hey if you ever do see me around ☺️
Thanks so much 🥰🥰 this style could definitely be made from a cotton or satin/silk and worn as pyjamas! But definitely can scheme up a tutorial for another sleep set 🤗
They're from a relative's throw out pile so not sure where they got it from. But it's just a regular bath towel and on the tag it says Egyption cotton so maybe that's why they're extra fluffy.
i so appreciate the time you take to explain every step and all the little details! it really does help and never goes unnoticed. loved this tutorial!! ✨🌞
Thank you 🥺🥺 that genuinely means so much to me 💕💕
Truly obsessed! Last summer I thought about making a set like this, I'm so glad I waited now I can use this video as a guide.
Glad I could help 🥰🥰

Love this,it's a great lounging set and fantastic for my next summer vacation at the beach ⛱️
This seems perfect for swimming! I love this
Love that you can throw this on after and swim! No need to bring a towel for a quick dip
Exactly! When I went for the first ride and swim after making this I was about to grab a towel then I was like waaait, I am the towel 😂
Watch me scout for unused towels now 👀 This was so good!!
And the final reveal shots are just 😘👌🏼
Hahah no towel is safe in our presence any more! Thanks lovely 🥰😘

ooh I want to make these! I love the idea of getting out of the pool, putting these on then your dressed
A very cool outfit. I would love to make this.😍
This entire video and outfit is just awesome. It turned out super cute and the video is probably the best 'how to sew' lesson as a bonus. Good job!
You are a genius 🤯

This looks incredible!!!! I started a terry set too but now I think I’m gonna start all over to add the bias binding 😍

That was amazing. You make me feel like I can do this. Thank you! Exactly what I was looking for.
I’ve made so many of your tutorials. I love how you explain everything and truly appreciate all the effort you go into. Love your channel ❤️🥺💐
This is amazing! I sew a few garments from patterns, but it's so impressive seeing you create them completely from scratch!
It's perfect 🥑🍐🍏🍈🍸definitely looking out for towels to thrift to follow this tutorial 😍😍
Also...the screaming kids are my favourite 🤣
YAS this is so cute!! I just started sewing and your videos are by far my favourite to watch! So easy to understand and learn from. This is a perfect GC summer set ❣️

Love this tutorial Maddie!
Wow I like your box

This would cone up great as a pyjama set. Especially in a soft cotton or silk 🤤🤤

Where is your sewing basket from? ❤
i have such a hard time figuring out what tension works best for the material im using, i was wondering what tension you used for this?
My toxic trait is believing I can do this with no sewing experience.
Anyone know where that collapsible toolkit is from? It's so nice!
I really love your style! Can you do some pj's pleaase?
Thanks so much 🥰🥰 this style could definitely be made from a cotton or satin/silk and worn as pyjamas! But definitely can scheme up a tutorial for another sleep set 🤗
@@TheEssentialsClub awww youre the sweetest. Ive watched all your tutorials cos you make it look so easy. Keep it up 😊
Hi! What kind of towels are these? I know vintage but are they pure cotton? They just look more fluffy/teddy bear ish so I wonder what they are?
They're from a relative's throw out pile so not sure where they got it from. But it's just a regular bath towel and on the tag it says Egyption cotton so maybe that's why they're extra fluffy.
