God in His Word has time and time again provided us with numerous assurances that He will never leave us alone even when we walk through the fire, flood or indeed the valley of death. And that nothing shall separate us from His love; neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature.
Knowing that He never promised that the road would be easy like Job we proclaim "I know my Redeemer lives...and though He slay me yet I will trust Him"
