- DJ and music producer Diplo joined CNN This Morning to explain how he, Chris Rock and other Burning Man attendees were able to leave the festival grounds after heavy rain caused a thick, clay-like mud. #CNN #News
Meanwhile, everyone else only just "escaped" this morning. It was a harrowing experience! Some people had to actually CAMP, in a CAMPER, for a day. Then the next morning when the weather improved and things dried up a bit, they had to WAKE UP in the morning, start their car, put it in gear, and drive for miles to get back to safety. So brave! 🤣

I kind of know what those people are going through! "About 20 years ago it rained alot at my apartment complex, my Ford Pinto got stuck and my wife came courageously to my aid, carrying our family cat, she fell and we were all muddy together" Thank God we survived the ordeal!
I go on vacation and backpack for fun. Its gets a lot more hairy at times then this but I enjoy it I guess. No news coverage of my vacations dang it!

@@AverageJoe483 it's actually only about 2 miles to the road. If you follow the vehicle path it's about 6 miles because it curves...but if you're walking you can just go straight.

It rained in 2000. There were about 30,000 people, & maybe 3 people who had satellite phones (there was no internet out there back then). No one freaked out. No one died. It's ALWAYS an extreme camping event. It's on a dry lake bed in the middle of the desert. When you get your tickets they send you a guide on how to stay safe & hydrated, & they remind you that it is a LEAVE NO TRACE event.

Diplo has a history of “Dating” underage fans, targeting young black women who are aspiring artists and grooming/ SAing them. Azalea Banks has called him out, and now Alexa Nichols has an amazing podcast about it here on youtube called Eat Predators where she has done some incredible journalistic work to bring the voices of his victims to the spotlight. This man does not deserve a platform.

6 miles isn't impossible if you're in shape. You can walk it in 2 hours in good conditions; probably took them 3 hours.
I could see that the tire tracks barely sank into the "mud", and "Diplo" (whoever that is) wasn't sinking in at all. Mud on your boots can easily be wiped off. All those guys in the back of that truck looked very clean, too clean, as well. Fluffy.
