I wish I could have lived in the 50's and 60's this music is sooooo good!
I'm happy to discover Neil Richardson's music
Yes, how about James Clarke, say something sweet or double take and Roger Webb
This is some of the best music ever. I just discovered him on Amazon Music a few days ago. I'm sure I heard many of these beautiful melodies from television or driving around with my parents and grandparents. Reminds me of awesome times.
I’m very sad that I never got to live in a time that this music came out of, so much optimism. For all of the developments we made in the 21st century, I think we also lost a lot of hope.
Never give up hope. The great things in life that matter, like this music, are timeless and will always matter as long as we keep the spirit alive! You didn't even live at that time and yet it has value and matters, that says a lot. Have a great day!
ABSOLUTELY STUNNING BEAUTIFUL
REAL DEAL
MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank You!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is not "feel good" music. It's FEEL ECSTATIC music.
Music like this makes me so happy, i could daydream forever..
In the 70s, when Neil Richardson's Music would play on WMTR, my darling CAT LOVED to Dance & Swing her long fluffy Tail to his signature "flying flute" sections!!
I Miss My Baby AND that wonderful fresh Era... Life is truly BitterSweet.
Thank you for this beautiful collection from an astounding Musician Composer Arranger Conductor
... and ever versatile FINE ARTIST❤
Hello from the Ozarks. This music reminds me of being on a cruise -- and we've booked one for next winter to celebrate 20 years of marriage.
How exciting! I’d love to go on a cruise one day… have fun 😊
This was without a doubt the best all around period to be alive. The 1960's.
Missed it, but agreed.
Not being born until the late 60's, I (sort of) missed it, too.
Neil RIchardson is underrated

Yup, highly
Grossly underrated.
Some parts of this reminiscent of the moody blues days of future past
Wonderful collection of music. Great listening and very relaxing as well.
Tremendous , uplifting, atmospheric music. Thank you for posting this timeless tranquility.
This is excellent music 🎶 🎵
Neil Richardson is a very good composer
Absolutely brilliant, elegant ambience music.. I could listen to this for hours, and just get lost in sweet daydreaming.. Some of the songs are very reminiscent of Piero Piccioni..
I see sailboats in the harbor.
It's a perfect blue sky day.
Any summer day in the 60s.
Spy movie music. Love it
If they released the album & CD New York's Greatest TV Hits, Riviera Affair would be in the collection
The first track Rivera Affair was the music intro/outro of WOR Channel 9's 4 O'clock Movie. Brings great memories hearing that again. 🥲🥲
It brings me to the 70's mansions and scenes that I never been before
Sometimes we have been, where we physically have not.... I was born in 89, lol.
60's 70's exciting times, best music I ever heard. Beautiful, lush arrangements, just classic in every sense of the word! I hit the subscribe button 20 seconds into the first song. Thank you for sharing. Love from California!
it will never Happen again

This was when music sounded like music. This is music that brings back nostalgic memories. They don't make music like this anymore which is sad and tragic.
That’s for sure!!! 60’s and 70’s were great .. Music was Amazing!!!
@@robknol3070 i see
If you search you will find some things similar to this. Music like vaporwave is inspired by 70s and 80s music.
Ah, todays youth with their hippity hop music know nothing like this, just the cartoon girl with the cat… ehhh what’s that called lemme see here *adjusts bifocals* Low-Fee?? For what??
Also what’s this Vaporwave nonsense?? I don’t want your vape in my face, ya dang kids! 👴🏾🫵🏾
Making music like this is a lost art. Think of all the time and effort it took to compose these line by line. The amount of dedication and skill it takes for a musician to sight read scores. You're listening to a culmination of hundreds of instruments being played together to create beautiful sounds. There is really nothing quite like the real thing.
The melody is so romantic. 😍
Neil needs more love. This is fantastic!
For some reason when I saw the thumbnail for this video my brain started playing Prestige Production, and of course this video starts with that song. Nice!
Thanks for putting this up. Im having a grand afternoon working in my home while it plays, like Im in a movie about the good life.
We are a fortunate few to have found Neil Richardson's music. The first track is mesmerizing.
MASTERPIECE!!!
driving in my SUV, too much money in the bank account, living the best life, playing that song!
Go spend your money for the good of others❤
Groovy baby!!
Oh, behave!!
Orchestration & Musicia ship is Superb !
In my mind's eye I see Roger Moore in his Volvo P60 driving along the coast road
above Antibes . Wearing a cravatte and a safari suit of course....
👍☺☺💜
His 70's Music of our London, wonderful, Firebird, fabulous, I sometimes use it as a closing to my voiceovers, thank you niel richardson.....tom, crystal palace, london south.
I'm already a fan on the first song
The “Riviera Affair” is in my playlist! Love this genre.
me too
There’s a lot of us!
@@bonnacon1610 I play this genre at work and none 'get it.' So where are all of you who love this music? I think we're as rare as black pearls.
what is it called?
@@marwintawerson7867 This genre is called easy listening or also library music
Guide Path is crazy
"During the 1960s-1990s, he was an arranger and conductor of various BBC Radio Orchestras, working on programmes such as String Sound and The Radio Orchestra Show.[2] He was a prolific composer of library music for companies such as KPM, and his music has been used in numerous TV, film and radio productions" - Wikipedia
I got to know Neil when he conducted the northern radio orchestra. I was so impressed with arrangements so I wrote to him asking about various pieces. Turned out most of the arrangements were done by others but I used to write regularly to Neil and he always wrote back. I visited the playhouse theatre in Hulme and sat in the studio for a day listening to the recordings. Eventually Neil went on to conduct the radio orchestra and I visited there on a number of occasions. One of them was the Monday before the Saturday that I got married. I invited him and couldn't believe that he said he'd come. He was such a lovely man. When I arrived at the studios in Manchester he asked the producer through the mic if I'd arrived yet so he remembered he was expecting me and I remember little things like that despite being around 18 at the time. He eventually moved to Spain and after a few years of losing contact we emailed each other. He sent me recordings of the Neil Richardson singers and believe it or not he asked if I had a copy of Firebird that I could send him as he didn't have one. I love his compositions and his arrangements are superb. The singers were in session when I visited on that Monday. The orchestra recorded in the morning and the singers recorded in the evening that time. I really miss those days.
Brilliant
Like I need to drink a few Tom Collins while on a montage of exotic locales
Greetings from the Netherlands. Great Music...😊😊
When there was a future to dream of...
There is a future to dream of…If we help it to happen. However I take your point & often feel the same.
True to the meaning of great music that I've enjoyed as a kid. My dad played this type of music and my 8 years old mind would wonder into a beautiful place. Not only that, I walk into a department store and walk into the toy section and I'm in heaven. What a wonderful world ladies and gentlemen boys and girls and friends and foes, you have to love them. 😅😢😊
Ah, I can hear the wow and flutter of the 8-track player on the midrange speakers in my head. Despite that, great stuff!
I like the first track, and nice picture.
Great track for playing Project Zomboid!
I was thinking of this music driving around in the convertible Porsche
A vibe for sure
They used the first music for the Saturday Animation Block on Disney Channel and the Monday Night Animation Block on Disney XD
J'adore! Merci!
Merci à vous 😊
I love this wow !👍👍👍
Rio magic aka fun in the sun is one of the greatest pieces of music I have ever heard
100% agree with you
@@nolivier glad we agree!
YES! First heard it on Illinois Street Lounge. Good stuff, Maynard!
Thanks for the post ! I never heard of Neil until this post... he's definitely a force to be reckoned with.
Ahhhhhh....NOW I remember his music. I believe "Rio Magic (also known as Fun in the Sun)" was used by NBC for their "Sunday Night Mystery Movie" and I also believe the same music was used as the theme for the "McCloud" television show.
Just found this video and like his music. Did a bit of research and turns out he went to my school 😂
I always liked this as intro for movie.
21:27 very nice
Perfecte per després d'un "bona nit". 🏴

Yes lord.
Saludos desde Chiapas, México very very Nice
Oceans 13 😊
Fucking perfect!!!!
06:33 - Reminds Me Of "Passioni Dell'Anima" Composed By: Bruno Nicolai The Track Itself Played In The Patrick Star Show Episode "Lost In Couch". Also Reminds Me Of "Fates" Composed By: Gregor F. Narholz & "A Pirate's Life For Me (a)" Which Both Played In SpongeBob. Probably From The Same Music Genre
Pair this with "Overture" and "Lunch Break" from Days of Future Passed (Moody Blues) and you're good
Thanks for the advice!
Thank for this post right here luxury at its finest
More Riviera's picks ...
Awesome! Thank you for sharing! 😊
Cannot get Brentford Nylons out of my head listening to track 2 for some reason 😂
One for the teenagers
So chilled, outside our new ground floor apartment, huge gorgeous communal garden soon when better weather arrived. Any time soon.
.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊
valtellina 90s ❤️❤️❤️🇮🇹
Anyone knows classical movies with this feeling, this energy?
Some of Hollywood and most of the European B movies of the mid to late 60s had a lot of this style as background music .
The 1969 Film Italian Job has a similar vibe if that's what you want
Check the soundtrack to Barbarella. The Bob Crowe Generation wrote the soundtrack and created a lot of similar music on his own as well.
The riviera affair is so : Villefranche sur mer 🐳🐳🐳🤗🤗🤗
Tellement!! 🤩🤩
❤
Color Climax!
brilliant
People are more creative and prosperous when the government invests in public purpose. That's what's been incrementally taken away these past 50 years. A quality living standard is when banks and monopolies don't interfere with public finance, where they have no business being involved.
cool!!
yo escucho esto desde 2020 :3 es hermoso
