@@shivamgurjar8268 similar thing was in my 2019 RC390. I think it's speed limiter cause engine used to cut off around 174 something. It redlines and completes that 10.5k rpm way early before hitting that 174. But it cuts of only after hitting that speed. I don't know how much it did before 3rd service as i wasn't as experienced to go to those speeds. But i knew it accelerated way faster at same rpm's after my 3rd service. Rpm limit remains the same as mentioned by company. U need to ecu remap or install piggyback module to remove those limiters.
Sagar Sheldeker clocked 175 on it at chakan. He is 80kg and chakan is not a big track. So for a 60-65 kg rider, and after 3 services, I hope it to touch atleat 179.

No need to worry for new ktm rc 390. Due to bs6 norms there is a limiter. If you want more power simply after the warranty ends upgrade to powertronic ecu, fuel x , k&n air filter ,remove saree guard & full system performance exhaust. In powertronic choose a map for more power distribution in higher rpm range. Maps are available then Rc 390 will touch 190 kmph. By the way I own fully modified ktm adventure 390 which clocks 180kmph 😎

Damn man. Didn't expect this much initial from new model. It's more than bs3. Bs4 was getting it only when it hit limiter. Slight modification at top end and Japanese competition finished.
Not a fair race at all, in 1st round the guy in new rc didn't tuck down completely as there was a little more room to tuck down and in the 2nd round the guy in new rc unnecessarily turned and looked behind which kind of reduced the speed allowing the old rc to overtake.
@@primev1382 That's fine, but if he hadn't turned and looked back and kept going, might be new rc could have done those extra 2 or 3 km/hr, technically new rc weighs 1kg less and also has the same gear ratios as old rc and I think same number of sprocket teeth as old rc so, I don't think there would be a difference in topspeed also, new rc is said to be more aerodynamic and also in Bajaj test track people were able to top out at 175 in straight which could only be a km long stretch and for these guys given a really long stretch, it may do those extra 2 or 3 km/hr, here I'm not to talk in favor of new rc infact I don't like new rc at all in terms of looks. One guy not tucking down fully and another guy looking back will give inaccurate results which would be a kind of deception for viewers. Both riders should do their best in race unlike what they did, whichever bike comes first, that should be fair 🙂
@@abinabraham2595 Yes, topend feel and the rush won't be the same, that I understand but in this video topspeed is identical, I just talked about the way they had this race and both bikes more or less had the same topspeed here. Even the old rc struggled after 170. As you said the feel at the topend and the rush will not be the same, but literally topspeed is identical as you see in this video, I thought new RC should've been ridden better by both riders, in the 1st round when the old rc overtook, the speed of new rc was not even at 170 and also after that the rider in new rc was not able to get to 175 at all because of incomplete tuck and also as you can see clearly in the 2nd race he turned and looked back and lost some speed letting old one to go forward. I just thought race should've been even more fair, that's it 🙂

There is a chain spocket teeth difference between old and new one that is the reason initial is high top end is low, if you change the old version chain Spocket to new one, the drive will be awesome.
