Yes to me the best part of music is clean lyrics and good tempo I don't understand the wordless music. It makes good background sound but invokes no emotion in me. I love classic Disney songs because they're family friendly and light hearted even the villain songs are free of bad language.
But this is wonderful in it's own right I love harmonizing voices and me and my sister used to sing songs together when when were younger I miss that. We don't see much of each other anymore we still talk all the time over text/ call but it's not the same but we live too far away to meet up that often. If we meet halfway it's 1 hour one way to the meetup point so 2 hours drive time in decent traffic. If traffic is busy it takes longer

The reason this song feels nostalgic is that it contains two musical elements that have been all but abandoned by most of our culture:
Melody and
Harmony.
Maybe here in the west but some countries still produce modern music with melodies, harmonies, and even choirs.

I was thinking of two of the three basic elements of all music. Rhythm, Harmony, and Melody. They correspond to the three elements in a human being:
Body = Rhythm
Soul = Harmony
Spirit = Melody
When these elements are in balance, the music is refreshing to us in ways that are unusual for us. Why is it so unusual? Because nearly ALL of our music today is out of balance! It is HEAVILY weighted toward Rhythm. I realize our bodies need Rhythm. Our heart beats all the time. But if you could hear someone's heart beat all the time as they were talking and riding down the street, you would know they have TOO MUCH RHYTHM! the person is out of balance to the point of things being unhealthy.
That is where we are today. We don't really notice it, until something like this comes along and surprises us with how refreshing it is... because it is in balance.

It's an Sea shanty from NZ from the 1960's. He did not wrire it just made a remix. A good one, but not original.
