the girl from the netherlands convo make me crack up
hahahah me too!
@@ColeLangs this Dutch girl either has way too much energy or she’s laughing at your pronunciation. I’m not sure
@@norwegian52 I think it might be pronunciation. The Dutch tend to drop terminal "n" sounds in plurals, so windmolen typically sounds like "windmol-uh" instead of "windmol-en".
@@josephbrowning4220 that’s only true for certain dialects of Dutch. Others don’t do that
@@norwegian52 "That’s only true for certain dialects of Dutch. Others don’t do that" holds true for just about everything in Dutch... :-)
wow, seems like theres been a huge trend of language learners going on omegle and making youtube videos. I love it.
Thanks! 😃
Your pronunciation of "Vindmølle" is how you could say it in Norwegian (:
Hahahah small world!
what is windmill in norwegian
With that netherlands girl, she came off as rude to me in the beginning, making fun of your accent and all. It seemed more like fun of you rather than with you though that could have been unintended on her part. If I was in your place, that probably would've triggered my social anxiety and I would just quit soon after. But seeing you stick with it anyways and finding a sort of common ground despite the rocky start and general discomfort/awkwardness was really nice to see. Good video 👍
Tbh that thought never even crossed by mind because in my experience, Dutch people are a lot more direct and won't be afraid to say what they're thinking. Even if someone is laughing at me I won't really mind because we're all different and people have different ways of reacting to anything that they don't consider "normal". I'm actually quite introverted, so having this mindset is the only thing that allows me to get through recording these videos lol. Thanks so much for the great comment :D
@@ColeLangs As a Dutch person I can confirm that what you said was easily understandable. This girl probably never heard a foreigner attempt to speak Dutch and that's why she thought it sounded funny. You said 'windmolen' perfectly fine and we call two provinces (out of 12) South-Holland (Where Rotterdam and The Hague are located) and North-Holland (Where Amsterdam is located) Holland, there is indeed alot of tulips and windmills there. Hope this clears everything up. By the way it's cool that you are learning Dutch and as I said it sounds perfectly understandable.
Same! That's one of the reasons why I'm terrified of going on random video chat sites. My social anxiety would skyrocket, lol
It’s not rude, it’s the Dutch cultural norm to be direct. We don’t go around the teacup.
niet zo verlegen doen joh verrekte mongol.
Yo when the French dude told you I haven't spoke Spanish in a while you responded "esta bien guey" 😂😂😂
Me saying guey in spanish now feels more natural than me saying "dude" or "man" in English no matter who I'm talking to lol
@@ColeLangs well done man keep the dope content coming!!!
8:00 that girl was laughing at everything and anything 😭😭
on a ColeLangs binge because I'm learning Spanish and maybe Portuguese too, and this shit inspires me like daaamn that's some good content, keep it up!
Thanks man! So glad that it inspired you! These Omegle vids are really out of my comfort zone but I love doing them anyway
I would really love to see You speaking Polish and Turkish.
I would love to see that also since Polish pronunciation for foreigners is so difficult
Unfortunately I don't know much of either language, but I really wanna learn them!
@@ColeLangs you should definitely give it a try, I really like Polish (since it's my mother tongue), and I think you would too!
Nein
@@dandei545 shut it.
Her laugh was the highlight of this video, I'm sorry. Awesome conversation with her :)
I just found your channel and I'm thoroughly impressed, not only by your ability to speak so many languages but also your sensible and measured choice of words. You're evidently well-read and conscious of things too many people are unconscious of. I hope you always keep spreading positivity and developing your knowledge and character.
Not to mention, you've got great taste in literature; Dostoyevski and Tolstoi are also two of my favorite novelists/philosophers. I'd recommend Poor Folk and Notes from the Underground by Dostoyevski if you haven't read them yet.
Thank you so much! I try my best to be as culturally-conscious as possible when I interact with others. I've never read Poor Folk but now I'll be sure to check it out!
Hearing and seeing Dutch words is real fun - I am upper advanced level in Dutch at the moment, so I could understand everything! Dutch is one of the prettiest and most poetic and refined and unique languages ever, like English / Norse / Icelandic / Norwegian etc, which are the prettiest and most poetic / refined / unique languages ever with the most pretty words, so it’s one of the perfect languages to show off with, and Icelandic + Norse are also one of the perfect to show off with, so I highly recommend that everyone learn them! Re pronunciation rules in Dutch, the ui diphthong is pronounced oui / ouy, that is, ou + soft i / y sound that are said fast in one sound! I highly recommend learning Dutch 2gether with Icelandic + Norse (and Norwegian / Danish etc) as these languages are so gorgeous, too pretty not to know! Welsh and Breton and the other 4 modern Celtic languages are also gorgeous, and are a great option as well!
Ik hou van Nederlands - et is één van des mooiste talen ter wereld! 🇳🇱
Það er mikilvægt að læra Íslensku og FornNorrenu - þær eru alltof flottar og fullkomnar! 🇮🇸
By the way, my current levels are...
- intermediate level in Old Norse / Icelandic / Welsh
- writer level in English + native speaker level in Spanish
- upper advanced level in Dutch + advanced level in Norwegian
- mid intermediate level in German / Swedish / Portuguese / French / Italian
- beginner level in Breton / Hungarian / Gothic / Latin / Faroese / Galician / Danish / Slovene
- total beginner in Cornish / Manx / Irish / Scottish Gaelic / Aranese / Elfdalian / Gallo / Limburgish / Occitan / Luxembourgish / Catalan / East Norse / Ripuarian / Swiss German / Alemanic / Austrian German / PlatDeitsch / Greenlandic Norse / Friulian / Pretarolo / Sardinian / Neapolitan / Sicilian / Venetian / Esperanto / Walloon / Ladin / Guernsey / Norn / Burgundian / West Frisian / North Frisian / East Frisian / Yiddish / Afrikaans / Finnish / Latvian / Estonian etc (and the other languages based on Dutch / German / Norwegian / Italian / French that are referred to as ‘dialects’ but are usually a different language with different spelling etc)
(I highly recommend learning Dutch / Icelandic + Norse + Faroese / Norwegian as they are so magical, as pretty / refined / poetic as English - all other Germanic and the other pretty languages on my list are also gorgeous, so they are all a great option!)
Well done Cole. You get along with some of the most obtuse people and that's getting you far. Keep it up. I love watching you succeed. 💚
I appreciate that thank you Ken!
That's one of the reasons why I subscribed to his channel. I've been watching LaoShu and XiaoMa for a long time. Cole is excellent with his approach and reaction. The philosophical inclusions are reminiscent of the commentary on Yes Theory (and are very welcome here, by the way). I think this channel will explode with language learners from around the globe, especially if Cole focuses a video on one language occasionally. Subtitles are excellent for viewership in both entertainment value and educational purpose. I look forward to more videos, and, when covid vaccinations loosen the travel restrictions, I look forward to global conversations from my favorite polyglots. Cheers.
2:02 they were hungarians telling each other:
-You're gonna speak!
-Hell naah!
-Cmooon, speak for god's sake
Man. My hearing is off..... I thought the guy at 9:42 said "You are a gay man" (not "you are a gamer"), and you responded "Sometimes", and I was here like "Okayyyyy, we love a bi king." lmao. I'm weakkkkk!!!!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA keep it real king
😂😂😂😂
lmao
The dutch chick's laughter is like a plane jet, i died 🤣🤣🤣🤣
How long have you been learning for? Great videos man :D
I started learning languages seriously when I was 17-18 and I'm almost 21 now, so only for a few years. In high school though, when I had a ton of free time, it wasn't uncommon for me to dedicate 6-10 hours per day to languages so I learned pretty quickly. Thank you!
@@ColeLangs that's some dedication right there dude! keep it up!
@@ColeLangs I recommend learning the language somali. I haven't see a linguist learn this language.
WHAT R U DOING HERE
LITERALLY WATCH UR VIDS EVERYDAY
lol b
@@random.person3356 ua-cam.com/video/A1Fwe4MrsBw/v-deo.html - this guy (laoshu50500) is learning it. in this video, he speaks to a somali family!
Great video can't wait for the next one! 🔥👀
More to come thank you!
This channel gonna blow up
Hopefully! Thank you!
Watching other polyglots on youtube, most of them seem to be using youtube as a platform to promote their language learning service. However, you seem to have a pure passion. Respect.
Thank you so much man! It never has, and never will be about the money for me. It's all passion and curiosity haha
5:48 her laughing oh my god😂😂😂
Windmill girl is a blast. She'd make a great friend.
I love your editing and everything, your videos seem so high quality I thought you'd have like 200k subs :) currently binge watching your videos lol
Wow that's an incredible compliment thank you so much!! I'll always keep trying to improve my videos :D
5:30 Holland is two provinces of the Netherlands. Noord (North) Holland and Zuid (South) Holland.
Omegle content is the way to go in this pandemic, subbed straight away seeing how skilled a polyglot you are! Keep it up and I'm sure you'll get loads of subs and likes just like Loushu50500

No problem 😊 I read all the comments and thank you!

Will do!!
Love your videos keep it up man you inspire me to learn German🤟🇺🇸
That's awesome! I'm so happy to hear that :D
🇵🇪 finally one 💀
and nice video ✨
I love that conten, also you are an amazing dude. Saudações do Brasil 🇧🇷🇧🇷
Thank you so much!!
De meeste mensen staan versteld als ze erachter komen dat je hun taal spreekt, maar de Nederlander vindt het gewoon grappig. Heel typisch. 😂
Most people are amazed when they find out you speak their language, but the Dutchie just finds it funny. Very typical. 😂
I guess that's just Dutch directness! I hope it doesn't come across as rude. Most people rarely encounter someone who's learning Dutch, so I suppose that's the reason for the laughter; it's quite the surprise!
Keep up the good work btw, loving your videos! :)
echt wel
I'm actually learning Dutch right now! And for me that girl is quite rude for laughing his mistake cuz me I also make mistakes but she must be grateful when other people is learning her language
Hey bro ! Ur videos r really unique !
Tnx for uploading them ! ❤🙏
And i wanna ask u , after English , which language must we learn ?
Telling ya bro this will blow you up 💯, nice video
I really appreciate that thank you!
lmao the hungarian lady in bed was saying "I'm not speaking to anybody, turn that shit off"
This was amazing
Thank you so much!
"But with a few choice words and a smile-"
*shows forehead*
😭
Du bist der Beste!!😂😄
hahaha Danke!
Great stuff dude :)
Glad you enjoyed it thank you!
When I initially clicked on the video, I thought this dude would have followers in 100Ks (Like 400K or something), but to my surprise he's not even at 10! The camera and audio quality is really damn good for someone with a small following. I'll check out other videos from you too. Keep up the amazing work man!
Thank you so much! I love your username hahahah
@@ColeLangs haha glad you like it!

Oh God I love her laugh
Aaaaaa amo tus vídeos, me empecé a interesar en los idiomas y aparte del Inglés estoy estudiando italiano aunque me gusta más el japonés
Muchas gracias y buena suerte con tus estudios!
Bruh when you busted out the Dostoyevsky I instantly subscribed
I got this in my recommended vids and you looked so familiar, now I realize you did an interview with LAHWF
I love SORA TREISPE in ometv , is the crazy nun. Did you meet her?.😂 😂😂
Bon vidéo comme toujours
Merci beaucoup!
Ame el mensaje final. espero ser un mejor poliglota en el futuro
Yeeah Man! It was so funny to see the Russian (actually not the Russian, but he speaks Russian), anyway thank you for that
You're welcome! I was thinking about your last comment when I was making this video so I had to get at least one Russian speaking person haha
Dutch girl was saying "Ik ga stuk". Literally translated "I'm breaking". 'Stuk' means 'Broken/break' which in this context is used to say you find something really funny.
Edit: Also, you pronounced the word "Windmolen" correctly. There was a slight accent but barely noticeable
Edit2: 8:30 Correction "Kinderopvang"
Cole pronounced the word “Windmolen” like he came from Twente.
She turned into an actual Stofzuiger. I fucking love it
I can say some canned phrases in a lot of languages, but I would only be able to hold a real conversation where I am not directing it in Spanish, Portuguese, English, and Japanese. It's so cool how you can do this with 10 languages at such a young age! very impressive cara
Thanks man!
Hauskan kansainvälistä menoa jo nyt kommenteissa 😁 that was fun, looking forward to the next one!
Kiitos!
What language is it?
@@alegoncalves472 Finnish!
The French dude with the mic I swear I saw him on others people Omegle videos
.......he’s everywhere
yoooo 2:04 i love ittt!!!
I salute you bro, I’m still struggling with my languages 😅🙌🏾
Thank you! Just keep going and you'll get to where you want to be!
Just in case u still want to know, Holland is actually 2 provinces in the Netherlands, North and South part, located in the areas of the big cities of Amsterdam, Rotterdam and the Hague
Thanks for the content man. I am Russian and my dream is to become a polyglot too. Maybe I will reach my goal someday. Who knows, right? Health and happiness to you and continue your work, you are great!
Thank you so much! As long as you stay consistent and enjoy the process, you'll get there much more quickly than you think!
Dude the "dope guys" were so dope HAHAHAHA
yeah they were awesome hahaha
You're dutch is fantastic!
The Dutch girls laugh is hilarious
This was hilarious. 😭
Little tip, what she said in Dutch was "ik ga stuk" "I am breaking" which means that you're cracking up
I like those wise words at the end of the video
hahah thank you Ben!
Nice video. I like the original content
Thank you!
The second one:
-Beszélj már
-Nem beszélek senkivel.
They would have been really surprised if you talk to them in hungarian 😂
Damn I'm trying to learn hungarian and I did recognize what u wrote was hungarian. But not the meaning 😔😂
Hungarian is such a cool language, but I only know a few phrases and what not. I definitely didn't know that they were speaking it in the video hahaha
@@ColeLangs yeah I was surprised when I heard Hungarian outa nowhere... I was hoping you'd know some... but that one was hella awkward anyway
8:33 the way you say it it sounds like „kinder opfern“ (sacrificing children) 😭😭
Risada do Mutley
You answered my prayers man, thank you.
(As in last video I just commented *"MOREEE"* )
(As you can see if you pause at 0:09 ahaha)
I read all the comments hahaha you're welcome!
How do you learn so many languages I want to learn but don't know where to start
JAJAJAJAJ DIJO WEY. Saludos desde México
Great video, blowing up 🤯
Hope so! Great to see you again in the comment section Jack!
@@ColeLangs thanks bro keep it up your doing genial!
We want more omegle dude
I am learning dutch and I wish that dutch girl was my partner. Omg she is so funny and a great personality
Please do more omegle videos it's way more intertaining👍
Will do Imane don't worry!
That smoker laugh tho
Possibly but i wouldnt assume. Only because my friend who doesnt vape or smoke only every once in awhile has the same laugh except the wheeze isnt as high pitched and its drawn out for way longer and if he thinks somrthing is funny enough he will start bouncing around and shit. Easily the funniest and most contagious laugh in the world. It makes any awkward situation not awkward; i could go up and say the stupidest shit to a girl and if he was there and started dieing laughing nothing would be embarassing. I wish i could add videos on here😂

Love your videos
I've recently started to learn Portuguese. What would you think would be the easiest most accurate way to learn Brazilian Portuguese?

That's great keep going!
"esta bein, wey" xDDD
Dude you and Lingualizer should do something together!
I'm from SA, I can speak alot of Afrikaans. Dutch is quite similar to Afrikaans 👍😁
I really liked the Dutch part as a Dutchie :)
Btw: You have like 13 different Parts in the Netherlands, and 2 of them are “Holland” split up in “North Holland” and “South Holland”
Also: “Ik ga stuk” means even youre dying about a Joke. Like: its super funny.
Thank you so much for clarifying that! Glad you enjoyed the video :)
You’re Welcome!
Girl from Netherlands won this video.
Keep up bro.
Thanks Muhammad, will do!
4:26 “hostia” se traduciría tal vez a “damn”
5:48 reminds me of those plastic slides that were anything but slidy
Omf 💀 and those electro shocks you get when sliding on it 🍑⚡️
@@aznrika YES! The static shocks oh my goodness
awhh when u said ur still learning dutch 🥺
Ik ga stuk would be used like when something is so funny and u say im dead 💀
That's amazing, I'm learning 5 other languages at the moment and when I'm fluent I will learn more, I love learning languages, my favourite is Spanish I can read it ok but struggle speaking it because of how fast the language is, respect to you
Thank you! I've always thought that understanding native speakers is the hardest part by far
Sorry for the delay, yeah my friends who are teaching me are speaking slowly for me but is still faster than how we speak in English 😂 learning quickly though on Spanish
wow now I know what the russian curse words that my roommate says all the time lmao
