OMG! I can't believe that the 4yo video with language impossible to understand truly helped! Seeing the same issue (mostly: cover the whole sensor with the finger) and viewed some other comments made me try both - clean the screen and lotion the fingers and then with super patience it worked!!! And I thought it's not working... 🎉
