Rebecca Laugesen Great idea. Did you let the cookie sit for 3 hours in the oven after baking-and it still dried *completely* despite its size? How thick was your cookie?
Abby, your video was not only very well made, but professional and extremely helpful! We just watched and are going to make our Queen Nina a batch to see if she will love them. We will post when done. Thank you 😊
Some Q's for the Q&A could be: • your rabbits date of birth • your rabbits personality • your rabbits favorite food, toys etc.. • how your rabbits reacted when you first met them • how strong is your bond with your rabbits • what app do you use to edit your videos And other stuff, I hope this helps and I hope you do this, ThankYou so much x
Thankx for the great ideas and enjoy seeing some good info Been trying to figure something to do with the pellet and hay dust. Now I have a some awesome knowledge to mix in with my ideas
I don't feel safe giving oats to my bunnies cause one time I gave her oats; she didn't ate it ;-; but hey thanks for making this video :D! Without the help of feeding treats to my bunny, she wouldn't have started to like me~
『SнιorιOтαĸυ』 Many articles say oats are not healthy for rabbits because they are extremely high in fat. So your rabbit is much better off not eating any! However, an occasional small treat of oat hay is ok.
you can probably substitute anything you want! as long on you have a moldable "batter" at the end since it's all about having a balanced ratio of wet and dry ingredients :)
I got my rabbit digestive treats bc she has stomach problems ( vet recommended them ) but she won’t eat them so im going to try making these and just adding the digestive treats to it!
You can also make these treats my rabbit loves them the slice apples thinly you bake them for 1 hour at 200 Fahrenheit then flip then over at 200 Fahrenheit for 30 minutes
Madison Sylvia going to try! Tired of paying money for tiny bags of baked apple slices, although Oxbow makes a pretty good one that is apples only-no added sugar.
Dog_Fan_ #1 Me, too! I’ve read several articles saying oats are too high in fat to be given to rabbits. I much rather would serve treats that are timothy hay-based.
YAY I made them I didn't really follow the amount of ingredients but it worked anyway and the bunnies love them! I used the pellet dust in the bottom of the bag rather then wasting perfectly fine bunny food I also used strawberries rather then raspberries because our strawberries were kinda mushy looking so yeah thanks a ton for this video!
That is so cute how your bunny grabbed the treat and ran away :D I wish I could make these, but for now the vet said our rescue rabbit should only be allowed fruit once or twice a month :/
I’m gonna try this, but I’m going to make into a sheet. Bake for 7 mins, cut with a pizza cutter, then another 7 mins, cut again with a pizza cutter, then another 7 mins, then the heat off for 3 hours. I can’t wait to try this!!! I’m definitely not good with paying $6 at the grocery store for treats because they don’t use yogurt
My rabbit isn’t to fond of his pellets so I added 1/4 cup of pellets in stead and he loves them (better than he used to be favourite oxbow treats) thank you sooooooooooo much😁❤️😘
Omg thank you so much I will make these all the time for my rabbit he ate one and he loved it!❤️Also I have a question what kind of hay do you use?because I use Timothy Hay for him and oxbow pellets
Could you do a Q&A on your rabbits, in that video could you also say tips/tricks for new rabbit owners, I'm getting a rabbit soon so I wanted some tricks and tips to help - I've done all the research I can think of but I just want to know some tricks and tips to help, thanks xx
Imthank Hipeeps i put the pellets in a bag and smashed it with a rolling pin, chopped up carrots super finely and mashed the banana with a fork! hope this helps.
I do that all the time for my bunnies I even make shapes too with cookie molds . I’ve made bunny faces, stars, ginger bread man lol. All sorts of shapes even dog bone shaped lol. I also make the classic truffle shape too that u made
My horse has a condition called cushings therefore she can't have very much simply carbs such as starch and sugar, all of the diy horse treats out there are oat based (oats are already too high in starch alone... a handful can cause some with severe cases of Cushings or IR to get laminitis) and drenched in molasses, so are not suitable for my horse. I'm actually going to take my own spin on these and replace the fruits (bananas and carrots are too high in starch as well... crazy, right?). Thanks for the video, helped me a lot! :)
Just make it a good size that isn’t too big For every 2 lbs body weight for rabbit 1tsp fruits one a day max so make ur thing that can fit that. I am using these for special occasions like nail trims and grooming sessions
Nooo!! I messed up... 😭 I only used 1/4 a cup of pellets... No wonder my mixture was so wet and I had to add so much hay. I think I added like 3/4 - 1 cup of hay... I gave up measuring the hay. Lol. Awww. Theyre in the oven right now. I hope they still come out well even though I messed up. I was only able to make like 10 cookies though. Oops. I think they might be too big... Is that bad?
Poatchi Boatchi well u don't want to give ur guinea pig a whole cookie a day if it's that big tho u probably want to break it in half and then give one half now and maybe another half in another day although this recipe does have quite some fruits and guinea pigs r only supposed to have fruits twice a week bc of the sugary contents (especially the bananas)
Making these for my bunny cause she’s using her litter I wanna make her something yummy as a reward
Really have to try this out. I can guarantie that my bunnies are going to love them. Thanks! 🐰💕🐰
made these for my buns today, they absolutely loved it !
I’m making some later! I bet my bunnies will love them
I flattend the whole mixture onto a tray to make a big flat cookie and then broke them up after and it worked great! 👍👍👍
Thank you 😊
Just made them and my bunny loves them! I've only given him one but he is mad for more!
Thanks a lot for doing a tutorial Abby!
It worked really well, I used this for my rabbit's birthday party (so cute), Although instead of using berries I used kale!
Thank you for the resipie I think my bunny will love it
such a good recipe, i've made these twice already and my rabbit loves them!
Aww great video Abby! I loved how misty just took the treat saying "ITS MIIIIINE!!"

too bad i’m two years late, but is it just me or did that liquid base that she made in the blender seem like it would make a delicious smoothie? 😂
Yes
I thought I was the only late person here.. xD
I’m 4 yrs late 😭
@Zaire Amir ugh bots, THE ARE EVERYWHERE
Yeaaa, I actually tasted the liquid base and lowkey taste good 😂
This is such a nice video and I love how you take your time to really explain
Bet the bunnies loved them!
Nice love the other treat idea perfect for the winter blues with the berries
I always feed my bunnies carrots so I made them and they love it!
Yay!
sis therestea Careful with carrots; they are very high in sugar! They should therefore be fed infrequently and in very small amounts.
Love this no oat recipe! Perfect!
Carrots, though, are high sugar. Can I substitute canned pumpkin? If so, how much do you think I should use?
you can probably substitute anything you want! as long on you have a moldable "batter" at the end since it's all about having a balanced ratio of wet and dry ingredients :)
OMG... MY KODAK IS GONNA ❤️❤️❤️ THESE!!!! THANKS BUNCHES
Seeing as this is safe for guinea pigs i’m going to try to make it and if I make a video i’ll give your credit :)
I am definitely going to make these for my buns! Thanks for sharing! They look so yummy! 😋❤️
Great video, per usual!!
Xxxx

very good recipie! good that its without oats😊
Daisy Stalls ikr! Every vid I watch to make like treats always include oats and I'm like bruh I don't have any oats 😒
Woow amazing we want more of these recipes 🍪🐰❤️
Thank you soooooo much for making this vid
I was trying to find a recipe for my buns that doesn't involve oats
My bun buns love it 😍
🐰
Xxx

Bunny safe sooooo cute🐇🐇😂
I mean to say bunny's are sooooo cute 🐇🐇😂
YAY I made them I didn't really follow the amount of ingredients but it worked anyway and the bunnies love them! wow, playing it cheap
these will gonna love my rabbit if she taste it on her birthday

I recommend blending the pellets and the hay together for a smoother finish!
Many rabbits might enjoy the chewy texture of unblended hay pieces. After all, that is their main diet.
Omg thank you so much I will make these all the time for my rabbit he ate one and he loved it!❤️Also I have a question what kind of hay do you use?because I use Timothy Hay for him and oxbow pellets

love love love this !!! thanks 💖
am i the only one wothout a blender but want to make those?
If you used more banana instead of carrots and mash it with and spoon and grind up the pellets in a bag with a hammer
Imthank Hipeeps i put the pellets in a bag and smashed it with a rolling pin, chopped up carrots super finely and mashed the banana with a fork! hope this helps.
Imthank Hipeeps we are not using a blender we just smash it with a rolling pin
Imthank Hipeeps same
I just used a plastic bag and a hammer to crush up my pellets
👍 for no bake treats
I do that all the time for my bunnies I even make shapes too with cookie molds . I’ve made bunny faces, stars, ginger bread man lol. All sorts of shapes even dog bone shaped lol. I also make the classic truffle shape too that u made
This is a really great idea! :)
Cool
Super creative thx! 😊
Almost a year of being a subscriber!yippeeee!

I save the dust from the bottoms of the rabbit food bags and when I have a good amount saved up I make the treats with it
Do the treats go stale?
I hope she lovez them i also used all my hay and it seems fine to me but their still siting
Yes
cool! looks tasty :)
Tip~ I didn’t cook mine but used the same recipe but without carrots and more berries and my rabbit devoured them 🥳
My horse has a condition called cushings therefore she can't have very much simply carbs such as starch and sugar, all of the diy horse treats out there are oat based (oats are already too high in starch alone... a handful can cause some with severe cases of Cushings or IR to get laminitis) and drenched in molasses, so are not suitable for my horse. Thanks so much for the recipe. Do they freeze well? I only have one bun so thinking they would go bad if I did not freeze them.
Minus the carrots 🥕 😋
I just made these!
Maybe I will try it
can you do a Q&A and ask the questions on youtube?
I let my bunny lick the spoon. He loved it so i have my hopes up.
How many treats does one batch make? Can’t wait to make these for my bunnies!
its soo perfect
I'm making these right now :)
do the treats go bad? if yes how long do they keep or how do you make them keep longer?
April Zhang read the bio.
May store this in a fridge?
I am making it right now and banging the pellets
Ummm Abbi I am making these right now for a dwarf does it make them smaller?'
Its Just Nicole ... No
Just make it a good size that isn’t too big
For every 2 lbs body weight for rabbit 1tsp fruits one a day max so make ur thing that can fit that. I am using these for special occasions like nail trims and grooming sessions
AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT HAD THE RABBIT KICK ME FOR FEEDING A NASTY TREAT.
Your rabbit is a diva!
My bunnies actually rlly liked em
Can you make the treats without bananas and carrots?
Where do you store them? In the fridge or just airtight container on the side? Mine are still a bit squishy but buns love them!
After being made, how long do these last before going bad? Do they need to be refrigerated?
Nooo!! I messed up... 😭 I only used 1/4 a cup of pellets... No wonder my mixture was so wet and I had to add so much hay. I think I added like 3/4 - 1 cup of hay... I gave up measuring the hay. Lol. Alina Lee Well who said they have guinea pigs?
Alina Le uhhh these are rabbits.
Ty cos my rabbit got ill when I gave him outs x
Can you make a video for what is on my phone
Should they be squishy once baked and dried
This also works with guinea pigs and their food😘😘
Can these be fed to dogs as well?? My pup wants in on the treats as well!
