Fun fact - the first battle broke history, as Coach Delta ended up letting them continue as a duo instead of “battling” against each other.
Yes it was history.
But neither made it through the next round.
So it wasn't the best choice!
After there first and only shot to stay,
it was clear they weren't meant to continue as one!
And they both went home!
As no one had a save/steal left, trying to save them both was all she had left to try. Which says, not that much for both singer's!
The second couple has so much chemistry it is crazy.

lover with matt and janie was amazing. matt was the best in my opinion just because of his tone and when he hit the higher notes, he really went for it. people need to take lessons from him

I ok agree because he had a better vocal control system but Janie didn’t have a very good control system and didn’t really know how to switch vocal ranges safely and she could really hurt her vocal chords. But they were both really stretching and forcing their limits which is also bad for the vocal chords. But still all amazing

well, this called me single in multiple voices
Takes me back when I used to go clubbing with other girlfriends and the last slow dance of the night, some guy would lightly tap you on the shoulder, and you would turn around as he asked if you wanted to slow dance with him. I remember on certain nights, you felt like saying no but you didn't even though you were disappointed. But I remember a few times turning around and in front of me was someone with the most beautiful eyes and I you put my arm on his broad shoulder, I remember the band Chicago's "Colour my world" started playing. As we swayed to the music, I remember the scent of his after shave or cologne and I closed my eyes thinking I was in a dream!! Never saw that guy again but every time I hear Colour my world, takes me back to that perfect end of the night. I can still smell his cologne!!
