- “Thanks to you, our tears have ended. Now, we can start to dream”- a student from our PoP school.
Four years ago, I decided to do things differently and humbly asked you all to join me on this mission.
5 schools later, here we are. All thanks to your kindness, 3469 student’s lives have been impacted.
I was blessed to go on a Pencils Of Promise field trip in Ghana to see our impact in person. It was everything I dreamed and more. It was absolutely surreal seeing our students and teachers. I will never forget the kind faces, beautiful smiles and grateful hugs.
When we build schools, we’re not just building a physical structure, we also build up a child's confidence, dreams and goals. We build up communities, potential and standard of life.
I hope we don’t stop here, if anything it inspires and compels us to keep building. There are plenty of underprivileged children who are deserving of quality education and water.

I forgot that you did this. I have been busy with life so I haven't been able to catch up with your videos for a few years, but tonight I had some extra time. This video brought me to tears. I'm so happy for them, and so glad I was able to donate for this project all those years ago. I don't normally donate to youtubers' projects, but there's a quote that always comes back to mind; "What if the cure to cancer is trapped inside the head of someone who can't afford an education?" Education is important for everyone. I truly believe that every good change in this world will start with an educated mind. Stay safe everyone, and wash your hands.

I love this video. I've personally been to Guatemala last year for a study tour & the lack of care for education is very saddening. Not only does the government only care about the rich families but even the poor are starting to feel like education won't serve them well if they're all going into agricultural jobs. I am so glad that the next step for Bubz's school journey is Guatemala since they desperately need schools & to realize that education teaches them important lessons that can't be taught elsewhere. Along with providing clean water and decent meals for their youth. I really applaud Bubz's passion and her turning it into a reality. 💕💕💕

They built this school from the ground up and the children look so thankful! Meanwhile in America, *MOST* (not all) students complain, take no responsibly for their own education, and take simple things for granted. It's like pulling teeth making some kids read books. I'd love to see more kids like this with education.
