Yo I am not kidding when I say that after Sonic said "that's good" I literally thought that was going to go back to sleep even though he had just got woken up by Shadow
And I'm not really sure if this is what is happening in this scene but from where Sonic apologizes for being scared of the storm to him waking up a hour later when it's over i can see him in Shadow's arms and when Rouge said that she wanted to make sure that Shadow and Sonic were going to be okay just like how Sonic does for her and everyone else i can see her gently stroking his quills!?
